Supremely disappointed by Crimson Moth book #2…. Terribly cheesy, and poor pacing. Anyone else struggling to get through this? I’m having to skip over sections - very repetitive and just downright not enjoyable writing so far.. Worst part is I was so excited because I loved the first book. Besides Quicksilver - was the only other book that made me feel like the ACOTAR series did. Ugh. Why do authors who get popular then push out crappy follow-up books! SJM I’m praying the next book is GOOD WRITING.

She knew why he hadn’t given his gift to her in front of everyone, but she didn’t say anything

He knew she had lied about forgetting to put his gift with the other, but he didn’t say anything

He knew why she hadn’t gifted anything to her mate, but he didn’t say anything

Mutual understanding, without even talking to each other
