In honor of Earth Day 2014 we wanted to show you a few GREAT ways to re-use your empty Steve's pints.
We made the decision to use Recyclable, BPA Free Plastic pints over Cardboard Containers not only for the design aesthetic it provides but for the ability the pint has to be reused (+ recycled) in an assortment of ways. Here are a few ways we LOVE..

Bees are responsible for pollinating one in every three bites of food we consume. Sadly, because of pesticides, parasites and malnutrition, bees are dying off—jeopardizing the production of food that sustains human life. We have teamed up with Bee Raw Honey to raise awareness for this cause. Our Blackberry Honey Ice Cream is made using Bee Raw's locally farmed honey, by a beekeeper we trust. We will also be donating 1% of all Blackberry Honey sales moving forward. Today we spent the afternoon with our Brooklyn neighbors at Mast Brothers Chocolate. They were kind enough to let us tour, learn, and sample their entire chocolate process from bean to bar. If you find yourself in Williamsburg be sure to stop by!

In honor of the weekend, here is a delicious sundae recipe you can make at home!
Steve's Mexican Chili Sundae
Ingredients:
Steve's Mexican Chili Chocolate (or spicy chocolate ice cream)
Your favorite Hot Fudge
Spiced Pepitas (Recipe Below)
Homemade Whipped Cream
Spiced Pepitas!
Pepitas are simply a spanish culinary term for the inside portion of the pumpkin seed! All the great flavor without the hassle of removing the outer shell.
What you'll need:
1 Cup Pepitas (raw hulled pumpkin seeds)
1/2 tsp ground pepper, cayenne, cumin, chili powder & salt
1 1/2 tsp lime juice
Steps:
Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees.
Toss all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
Pour onto a baking sheet and cook for 5-6 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
Enjoy! Leftovers can be added to soups, granola, or eaten alone as a snack.
