Hello!

I notice there's quite a few people following me on this blog now, so I thought it would be prudent for me to, I don't know, greet you all!

So, hi! Welcome to my little corner of writing! Here you can find poems and other little writing bits and bobs that I post here to share with others!

There really is no rhyme or reason to the kind of content you'll find here, other than being whatever hodgepodge of words and ideas that just pop into my head! My posting schedule is also pretty...wild... But I usually try to post something once or twice a week over the weekend.

If you want, I also am willing take some requests for writing! If it's not already obvious, I favor writing poetry, so if you have a word or a concept or a message that you want to see written in verse, you can just pop into my ask box and drop it in!

I may also explore writing the occasional short story (both original and maybe some fanfiction, I don't know ^^`).

We are always told to use body language in our writing. Sometimes, it’s easier said than written. I decided to create these cheat sheets to help you show a character’s state of mind. Obviously, a character may exhibit a number of these behaviours. For example, he may be shocked and angry, or shocked and happy. Use these combinations as needed.

Life's Rule of Hue

Varied shades walk throughout life;

Trod the same path yet face different strife.

Be lighter; you're richer.

Surrounded by dust, dressed in dirt,

Yet fair claim marble, donned in silken skirts.

An unsaid rule that keeps souls collared,

Known to to all but the colored:

Color defines;

Skin dictates life.
