you have permission to pick that 2 year old "abandoned" project back up. it's not mad at you for setting it aside. and maybe time and distance have helped ease or erase the things that made you put it down in the first place.

Hey.
Yeah you- the person reading this. Stop scrolling for a second.
You’re going to be okay. You have to believe that. It might take a long time and who knows how much work, but you’re going to be okay.
You’re going to be okay.
You’re going to be okay.

Stopped saying I want to kill myself and started saying damn I tired I need to sleep instead and it made insane impact. Be kinder to yourself and ask the questions and say the things you would think it would be good to say towards someone you love. Try to talk to you like you would to a friend. I know it is hard and we can't always do it but it helps
Avoidance is the worst reaction to stress. Oh this thing is giving me anxiety? And it's something I could prepare for by looking at it more or learning things about the topic? No, I will take psychological damage if I look at it directly. I will still be thinking about it and be stressed though.

Daily affirmations:
- I am normal.
- Nothing bad is going to happen to me.
- I will pass this fucking exam.
- This exam will not kill me, that would be so embarrassing.
- My tummy ache is psychological.
- I am a normal human being who deserves to live.
- Live, laugh, love.

Academic update: I finally received an interview for a FAANG+ company at a point in my academic career where I feel that I could possibly pass, so it's time to get on with the coding prep again. I'm gonna start from the top of the Neetcode 150 list and document every single problem I do in a spreadsheet Life update: I went out to dinner with my boyfriend then discovered I was sick when I got home, so I've done nothing but sleep and drink lots of fluids to recover

Cannot wait for this to be over, but I've also been rediscovering my love for the language, I won't lie... I love mandarin, I just hate college lol. Exam season kills me every time, I am not thriving, but at least I have coffee and HSK vlogs. Been really fun studying for a listening exam where I don't have to practice characters as much... That's probably my least favorite part. That being said I'm not too great at listening lol so I've been practicing a lot!
dead serious normalize having an average boring ass life where you have enough to meet your needs we do not need to be remarkable we just need to be alive
