My family has spent $2,000 on a couch and it has managed to make us all pissed off at each other (and I also physically can't get to my blahaj because of it)

A few days after we got it, my dad accidentally sat on it while wearing a shirt with some oil stains, which stained the couch itself. After scrubbing said stains for a while, they were almost gone, but there was now a faint water stain on the couch that, once you saw it, was kinda hard to unsee. Dad got in touch with some cleaning guys who offered to both clean the entire couch, give it some kinda protective thing AND deep clean all the carpets in the house for, like $700 (I think, idk). This meant that yesterday we had to move a bunch of furniture out of the carpeted rooms. My mum (who is an elementary school teacher) had just finished moving classrooms at school, so she was already sick of moving furniture.

The cleaning stuff was all done today but I realised after it was done that I left my phone charger in my room, and you're not supposed to step in the carpet while it's still wet, but my phone was on like, 5%. so I decided "fuck it we ball" and tried to get to my bed (which was still in my room) in as few steps as possible, I got there in 2 which was pretty good and managed to get my charger. However, in my way back I once again tried to not step in the carpet much, but I jumped too hard off my bed and ended up snapping 2 of the slats that were underneath the mattress.

On top of all this, the couch stain doesn't even look that much better and, from some angles, even looks a little worse. So we spent $2k on a couch that, in my opinion, isn't even much better than out old one, and it's managed to lead to an extra $700 out of pocket, a slightly broken bed and the couch still has a stain! Plus, the carpets still aren't dry so we're all sleeping in the living room rn, mum and dad on their bed mattress and me on a camping bed.

And just cuz I know people are only following me for blahaj content, yes, my blahaj is also currently inaccessible due to the wet fucking carpets.
