As currently fics of both versions of the story with their different canon are being put under the same fandom tag, and as I have seen people complain and insult fics that follow the original SVSSS canon instead of the CQSJ canon, I decided to add a tag to all of my fics:

"Based on SVSSS Canon | Not CQSJ Canon Compliant"

As all of my fics are and most likely will continue to follow the canon of The Scum Villain's Self Saving System, and not Cang Qiong Mountain Records, I decided to make it clear with an extra tag. That way I can hopefully avoid people complaining at me that my fics are based on the original canon, instead of the canon from the Chinese adaptation.

If any other fic writers wish to use the tag as well to lower the chances of further complaints and attacks, feel free to do so.

Hopefully soon we will get a separate fandom tag for Cang Qiong Mountain Records.

The problem with Bingge is that Shen Jiu was literally trapped.

Either he was super very stern with him and got tortured to death by Bingge.

Either he was fair and become the target of LBH's obsession with his loved ones killed out of jealousy by Bingge.

And if SJ was just...ignoring him, Bingge would ALSO do a tantrum.

LBH's so called happy ending and also him being the very person the world revolves around is why SJ is always doomed by the narrative. Because in a world designed to bend and twist and break to give LBH what he wants, he is the only part of it that refuses to be moved. That dares to look at the protagonist and say no. NGL I love that of him so much, and why he's kinda of a hero.

It entirely is why SY had to shoved in, because SJ would never, even without trauma, look at LBH and love him as he wants. Not only because the huge YQY thing, but also because that is not SJ's character...he would refuse the inappropiate and would find it wrong and disgusting for a disciple to desire their master and shizun who is basically not only their teacher but also second part, family and such. SJ also would not stand for LBH's jealousy and tantrums...he already didn't give a damn what people thought of him when he went to the brothels...if in another life he still went there and had friends/spent time/had an info network as some authors like to do, etc...he wouldn't give it up for LBH.

He also would never give up Qing Jing peak nor his work and position as QJPL...he is extremly proud and possessive of it. The culmination of all his hard work, all the blood, sweat, tears, frustrations and more. SJ would never be like SY who likes to leave all the work to his disciples and gallivant off for months on end to go away from it. Ming Fan was literally in tears in the novel from all the work he had to do while SY didn't give a damn. QJ disciples had to pay at times from their own pockets for damages Bai Zhan disciples were doing. SY focused so much to not be like SJ he also was a bad teacher /except to LBH and even then I find it dubious cuz extreme pampering and coddling is actially another form of abuse/ in an entirely different way.

But I digress...I think the biggest power move for SJ was to always choose death and peace out from LBH's life, him never letting him win..in the end..who really won between SJ and Bingge?? On the surface it may look like Bingge but it wasn't true at all and that's so real of SJ...even in the water prison he stood his ground and was true to himself to the end...people can say whatever about him but he was always honest...except when he kept silent and let people believe whatever. Who knows..maybe had things not gone so wrong between YQY, LQG and him they could seal away LBH or something since he cannot be killed.
