JV and I: What makes a good couple? Part 19
Letters and Lies
Jerome Valeska x Female Reader
Warning: Smut and Violence
Jealousy consumes Jerome as his anger at Aaron and his longing for you floods his mind.
The more time you spent with Aaron, the more sane you realised he was. He'd never got the love and care he needed and so, longed for it from others. The two of you quickly became friends, and now you'd always sneak him a small scoop of ice-cream or a handful of candies for him to have during his sessions.
Your high-heels clicked across the concrete flooring as you raced across the corridor. You were excited for your session today - well, even more excited than usual. Aaron had started talking about his time in Arkham and when he mentioned Jerome, you were beyond thrilled to find out that the two of them were also close. It made you feel closer to Jerome than you had felt in a long time and, who knew? Maybe this could be you chance to get a message across to him.
No. You scolded yourself. Don't think like that. You were there to help Aaron, you're making a difference here. Why ruin that. And besides, if J ever found out what you did you knew he'd never forgive you.
You stopped at the door, fiddling with the things in the pocket of your white dress to settle you; an old pen, a swiss army knife and three small sweets.
You peered around the empty corridor. Arkham was so short staffed they didn't even have guards on the door. There was usually at least one, there incase Aaron's anger got out of control or tried to escape.
You clutched your clipboard to your chest and stepped into the small room.
The room was dark as you entered, the only light emanating from a lamp on the table. You could just make out Aaron's silhouette, standing on the other side of it.
"Hello Aaron, how are you feeling today?" You smiled, tracing your hand across the wall in search of a light switch.
"Oh, I wouldn't bother searching for that."
You held your breath. That wasn't Aaron.
"Bulbs been bust for a while now."
The figure stepped out of the shadows and into the light. You gulped as you took a small step back.
Your voice went hoarse. "Jerome..."
"Hey doll, missed me?"
You didn't know how to feel, were you excited or scared? The torture of seeing him from a distance for so long had been unbearable.
"You've been a bad girl doll. Now what shall we do about that?"
You took another step back, hitting into the cold wall behind you. Jerome cocked a smile, you were cornered.
You felt your heart beating fast in your chest. You rumaged through your dress pockets, pulling out your swiss army knife and aiming the knife part at him.
Jerome grabbed at your wrist. You tried to move your hand upwards, helplessly tugging at his hand.
"Y/N." He sighed calmly. You stopped struggling and looked at him. His jade green eyes stared down at you confidently, causing you to weaken.
You stayed silent for a while, making sure as to not losen your grip on the knife.
Jerome's grin never left his face. "What you gonna do doll, kill me?" he toyed, moving your hand so that the knife was inches away from his own throat. "We both know that's not the reason you came to work here." He gestured to the papers on the table. "It's all there in that folder."
He pressed his body closer to yours and leant foward. "I know what you did." J trilled. "You sent a note to Jimbo. You told him how you were scared for your miserable life and that I was the culprit to that bitch-of-mother's case."
"J..."
"Let go doll."
You couldn't resist the sight of him as his tall figure towered over you, his lips inches away from your own.
The dimmoning light reflected off the knife making it gleam formidably in your grasp.
"Oh doll, you never learn."
Your arm weakened from his touch. He prised the weapon from you, his pitiless smile never changing.
"If I have to keep branding you until you remember who you belong to. Then I will."
Jerome grabbed hold of your left arm, sliding up your cardigan sleeve with ease; his name was still visible on your skin. There he started to pick up where you'd left off, showing you that you were his.
You held your breath as the blade dug into your skin. He shaped each letter with care. You felt every curve, every flick of every letter he carved into you, tracing over the scar you'd let him leave from the circus. You clenched your teeth tightly to block out you blood-curdling screams.
"J..."
He ignored your pleading.
"Something's missing," He whispered menacingly. "Oh, I know."
He scratched deeper into your arm, making you feel every inch of pain he'd felt from not being with you. He took out all of his anger on your soft skin as he dotted the new line he'd just cut.
He'd engraved an exclamation mark at the end of his name. Your eyes become cloudy as tears rushed down your face. He wrapped his arms round you, wiping the tears from your cheek.
"I'm sorry J."
"Apology accepted." Jerome shrugged, dropping the knife. "Trust, denied. Let's see if you can do something to change that, huh?"
He smashed his lips into yours, wasting no time to slip his tongue into your mouth. You let out a short yelp from his haste and sudden action.
You melted into the kiss. You'd missed this, it only made you crave for J more.
You moaned quietly as Jerome grinded against you. His lips travelled from your lips down to your neck, sucking when he reached your sweet spot. You moaned again, your knees weakening from his touch.
You turned your head towards the door, worried you could hear footsteps. "What if someone --?"
"I won't tell anyone if you won't."
Jerome pulled away, lifting you up and placing you on the table.
He undid the buttons on the front of your dress exposing your laced bra. Without a word, your bra was off and dropped to the floor. J's eyes gleamed as he grinned at you.
"Oh, I've missed these." He groaned, giving your right boob a squeeze. He leaned down to the other one, wasting no time to put it in his mouth and suck on it. You felt your nipple harden as his tongue traced across it. You cursed as he bit down and winced at the pain.
Jerome stopped, a crazed smile plastered on his face as he pecked your lips. "Don't stop now doll, this fun is just the beginning."
He pushed his trousers and boxers down to his thighs, gesturing to you to remove you dress and pants. You complied and kicked the materials to the floor.
"But I don't have any lube or anything."
J smirked at you worried expression. "Didn't stop us before."
He kissed you again, teasing his fingers near your entrance. "And by the looks of things we won't be needing some anyway. I missed you. You missed me too, right? It seems so."
Your moans became louder, giving him his answer. Jerome slipped two fingers deeper into your pussy as he nibbled at your earlobe. "You're so wet Y/N." He breathed, adding in another digit.
He took one look at the clock on the wall and grunted. "Fuck, I can't wait anymore."
Moving you closer to the edge of the table, J positioned himself at your entrance and slammed into you. You screamed. He colided his lips with yours to silence you.
"Quiet doll." He hushed. "Or does it turn you on to know that you could be caught?"
Jerome acted differently from the other time. This time he allowed himself to be rough with you, pounding his hips and not giving you time to adjudt. Afterall, you were the reason you'd been kept apart, this was your apology to him and he was going to take full advantage of that.
You soon got used the pain and arched your back, moaning out his name. Jerome carried on thrusting harder. Your hands made their way through his hair, tracing yours fingers through his ginger locks.
"How'd you find out." You gasped, refering to the source of your apology.
"I. Have. Friends. In. High. Places." He said after every thrust. "I. Do. Them. A Favor. I can Get. Whatever. I want."
Shit. Your toes curled from all the pleasure, you were so close. You moaned Jerome's name and gripped tighter onto his hair as you came.
Jerome laughed at the state of you; groaning and slamming into you deeper, quicker. He slammed into you one last time before grunting and cumming inside you.
You panted as you felt his warm cum fill you up.
Jerome smirked out of breath. "I love you Y/N. So, the next time you decide to do something stupid, warn me first, yeah?" He teased.
You used your cardigan to clean yourself up - better that then nothing. Jerome pulled up his trousers and boxers before handing you your clothes.
He perched himself on the table as you dressed, tucking into the candy he found in your pocket. "Are you safe? When you're not working at Arkham, do you have some place to stay?"
"Yeah I'm safe." You told him. "And I'm on the pill thanks for asking."
"See it's like you knew I'd be cumming for you."
You ignored his joke. "What about you? We need to find a way to break you out."
Jerome pulled at your arm so that you were sitting in his lap.
"Not yet." He stated, wrapping his arm around you. "Do it too soon and you're bound to be a suspect." J smiled. "But I'm sure you won't hesitate in pining the blame on me for that aswell."
"I was scared." You leaned against his chest, rubbing at your cut-up arm. "I was scared of what we were doing, and the GCPD. And - and... What I had become."
Hesitating, you began to think about your father lying on that hospital bed; brusied, burnt and bandaged. You thought of how you looked at him, how you didn't even doubt when you killed him. You blinked away the memory. "My father escaped the fire."
"What, how?"
"He must have escaped through the back."
You saw Jerome's fists clench. You gently let your hand intertwine with his. "Don't worry I sorted it. He's dead now. No-one knows who he is. It's just... I killed him. I killed him J. Sometimes I wonder, if I should be the one locked in Arkham."
Jerome laughed again. You looked up at him, baffled.
"Don't get your brain muddled up trying to figure out who's sane or not. Sanity, insanity." He gestured. "It's in our nature for people to kill. Everyone wants to, they're just too blinded by the law to act upon it. It's bozos like Jimbo and other cogs down at the GCPD that cloud their minds with the sense of order and justice. If we left things to the likes of them we'd still be condemned to that nagging." Jerome rested his head in your nape, his warm breath grazing your neck. "That would be true insanity."
"I've missed you J." You whispered.
Jerome hugged you tighter. "I've missed you too."
The two of you stayed quiet for a while, finding comfort in the warm embrace and the peaceful silence. The ticking of the small clock soon passed 1.
"Well that concludes our session for today," Jerome announced, jumping up.
"What?" You'd almost forgotten you were at Arkham. You stumbled to your feet, managing to whack your stabbed arm as you landed.
He tapped the imaginary watch on his wrist. "Sessions over. Can't have guards wondering why you've gone over schedule." He picked the knife up off the floor before heading to the door. "And if I can't keep your pants then I'm definitely keeping hold of this."
"J, wait."
You ran to him as he stopped and smiled in the doorway.
"Look after yourself in here, okay?" You said, kissing him on the cheek.
The red head smirked at how anxious you were for him. "See you next week doc?"
