Just finished a session with some first time D&D players and this is the description sheet for a playerβs human bard who casts spells by giving informational speeches
raw chaotic neutral
there is an unspeakable amount of power to this post, and Iβm not sure on whether I should fear it or not
this is cute as HELL
Same energy
Please, someone give me the context of this?
This is Jerry Miculek, heβs literally a world record holding sport shooter, possibly the best of all time. He often makes these comedy videos where he shows off his shooting skills or stuff he thinks is cool. The video is from the one where he got a Glock styled after the NES Zapper.
And hereβs him hitting a target with a pistol from an insane distance:
That insane distance is 1000 (Yes, one thousand) yards with a 9mm revolver. I believe it was his first shot too.
i go to taco bell and order the yeehaw supreme
and then what?? finish your story donβt leave me on a clifthanger like this fish!! D:
i pay them $1.75, the cashier covers their fist in sour cream and punches me right in the face

here is also the best of the best boys in my animation:
this one good boy stared into your soul and saw only good things. it made his eyes sparkle. he loves you so, so much.
I just saw that people have cut down some of the Joshua trees during this shutdown and I want to cry
w H A T
The what trees?Β Someone explain?Β I want to be appropriately sad.Β I mean, Iβm sad either way because trees are better than people.Β But why are these trees more special than usual?
Theyβre a rare species, and one that is very stunning, and also one that is very vulnerable to habitat loss and climate change.Β
And if I ever get my hands on one of the people who did this, I will be hard pressed to not kill them.Β
Did you see WHY they cut them down? They cut them down so they could go off roading in closed off areas of pristine desert.
Some fucking people should not be let out of their cages.
I take what I said back.Β
I would ABSOLUTELY have to kill them.Β

These are Joshua trees. Β They can be 300 years old (and at tallest, 15 meters).
Their range isnβt confined to the national park, fortunately. Β They are found in spots throughout southern CA, NV, and AZ. Β
This news makes me absolutely furious. Β
Read those articles. Β A lot of people think that you canβtΒ βdamageβ the desert, because they donβt realize itβs notΒ βjust rocks and sandβ, but an extremely delicate ecosystem that takes decades to grow even a little bit. Β Once damaged, it probably wonβt repair itself in these assholesβ lifetimes.
And this is exactly the kind of thing that the national parks were established to combat β the mindset ofΒ βwhat does it matter if I cut down some of these trees, there are lots more right over there; what does it matter if I go off-roading, thereβs more desert than anyone really needsβ. Β Itβs a profoundly selfish and wasteful mindset.
Just this week I went googling around β hesitantly β to see what the latest news is from Yellowstone. Β All of the parks are in danger of poachers coming in while the rangers are understaffed, but I feel like Yellowstone is especially vulnerable, because its wildlife is famous, and in cases like the wolf reintroduction there, infamous amongst exactly the same kind of people who are committing vandalism throughout the parks.
Fortunately, at least so far, I havenβt found any news reports of poachers targeting the wildlife. Β There are apparently a lot of local businesses (probably near many of the parks, but particularly Yellowstone) that are chipping in money for cleaning and upkeep and, one expects, security, because those businesses depend on visitors to the parks for their own survival. Β (Which is why the shutdown affects far more than just the 800k workers who arenβt being paid.)
Some people are absolutely awful, and the only thing I can take comfort from at the moment is that there are also many people who love the parks, know the danger they face right now, and who are trying to help protect them. Β
Sorry to chime in on the post, but I wanna add that Zion National Park is also partially staffed thanks to local businesses. To anyone visiting these parks right now, PLEASE be respectful. With the current level of staffing, try to pack your trash out with you even if there are garbage cans. They wonβt be emptied as often. (Also, please pick up trash you see along popular trails. Now especially but also in general, itβs good hiking etiquette to leave a trail cleaner than you found it.)
Donβt go into restricted areas (i.e., in Zion, donβt poach canyons; just because the permit system is down doesnβt mean youβre allowed inβbesides the fact that it makes you an asshole, itβs also incredibly dangerous because there arenβt enough rangers to help field SAR calls). Donβt fuck with the wildlife or plants. Be kind to any rangers you do see. Theyβre all struggling right now.
I wish more people didnβt act like having a phone and internet access means you are / should be available 24/7
like when I was dating my ex, I would sometimes look at my phone in the morning to find a barrage of texts heβd sent at 2am while having an anxiety attack, but the last 5 texts would be him upset with me for not responding β¦ like bruh I was asleep, my phone was off, wake up your roommate next time or call a hotline if you need actual assistance instead of texting your girlfriend who is physically not anywhere near you and also not conscious
Iβve had people get on my case for not responding within an hour or two of messaging me. not considering that perhaps I was in class, or at work, or doing homework, or maybe even just taking a little time to myself where I donβt have to interact with people. heck, sometimes Iβll go a whole dayΒ without looking at my phone because I have other stuff I need to get done, and this is treated like a crime. as though having a phone means Iβm contractually obligated to have it on my person and on alert all the friggin time. Iβm not. and I donβt.
being online doesnβt obligate me to interact with anyone either. and online/offline status isnβt a proper indicator of activity to begin with.Β maybe I have an app running in the background but I muted it to avoid distraction. or maybe I was using my phone for something important so I swiped your message away without reading it, making it look like I suddenly went offline. maybe I have tumblr open in a separate tab and simply forgot about it. maybe I read your message in the one minute it took me to walk from lunch to my block class and I canβt respond for at leastΒ the next 3 hours.Β
maybe these are all things that people should be allowed to do. maybe, just maybe, people should be allowed to portion their time and resources the way they need instead of catering to the impatience of others.
also read receipts are highly intrusive and they need to die
Some people: Pokemon have to have good lore and an interesting naming scheme for me to like them. They canβt just be some stupid, slapped together design! It has to be well thought out and deep.
My dumb ass: I love Whiscash because itβs a catfish with whiskers. Thatβs why its called Whiscash. It also has a w on his forehead. The w stands for WhiscashΒ :-)
my husband says that WhiscashΒ βlooks like he wants to make you pancakesβ and honestly thatβs just the teaΒ

this meme is funny and all but i think we all need to pay attention to the fact that its not some kinda vague classical art or whatever but is instead a modern piece stolen and uncredited with the artistβs watermark removed. heres the originalΒ
the artist is WLOP! heβs a chinese digital artist who does original and fanart, and has his own comic called GhostBlade. unfortunately, his art is very popular and gets stolen frequently by etsy shops and other people trying to make money off of other peopleβs work, so it doesnβt surprise me to see that someone stole this piece without crediting him.
hereβs his DAΒ if you want to see more :)
His art is gorgeous! Just scrolling through and theyβre fantastic work ~
