The Far Right is Rising in the Land of ‘Never Again’
Jan Böhmermann talks about the upcoming elections, the rise of the far-right Afd, and how a country can deal with our history and how we can never let it happen again.
The German conservative party (CDU) won our election. The far-right party is in second place (AfD). The social democrats are third (SPD). Then there are the Green Party (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) and the Left Party (Die Linke). CDU and AfD have many similar policies, which is very frustrating.
The only hope is that Friedrich Merz, who will probably be our new chancellor, says he will not cooperate with the AfD. However, he has said this before and broke his promise at the end of January. It was an unwritten rule in parliament that you don’t vote with the AfD to achieve your goals, but he did it nonetheless.
Alice Weidel, the leader of the AfD, is a big fan of Elon Musk. Another point against this party is the fact that Musk, Trump, and Putin support them and they admire them. It is very fucked up.

Don't know if people are able to watch this episode of Station 19 (s4e5 Out of Control) without getting extremely aggressive and angry and sad.
Okay, I watched Season 2 Episode 15 and I'm gonna to cry. Why? I loved Ripley. And I still love Vic and him. This was so sad. My heart can't do this. I mean, I watched every episode of Grey's, so I knew what would happen, but I can't. And I love this ending scene, when they all comfort each other. And the hole friendship dynamic between Montgomery and Hughes. But why? Couldn't they just get married and live happy together for the rest of their life?
