As a fan who's on the spectrum, both Kara and Lena seem to have a degree of being on the spectrum especially kara. I always headcanoned them as such. I actually first got into Supergirl because I felt that Kara was coded as autistic and we get so little positive media rep that I was starved

I definitely see a lot of it in Kara in S1! Was it @proudlyunicorn who made that phenomenal list of canonical evidence supporting Kara being on the spectrum? That was great.

I feel as though we’ve seen less and less of it after it moved to the CW, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still revel in the headcanon, especially when it addresses sensory over-stimulation (which you know Kara HAS to have some trouble with) in a tangible way.
