Kara: THE EPIC SERIES FINALE BRINGS BACK FAMILIAR FACES AND FEATURES A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING - In the epic series finale, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is joined by familiar faces from the past to help her stop Lex (guest star Jon Cryer) and Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) for good. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) prepare to walk down the aisle. Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan and Chris Wood return for the series finale. Kara:
Gain: Mind reading. Thatād be a great way to see just how effective her Hope Speeches can get with added insight and then she could progress to a place where she recognizes that she actually does need emotional boundaries.
Sacrifice: You said one, but Iād like to have Kara lose all of her perceptive powers for a time to see how she copes with not being able to keep tabs on everything and everyone.
Alex:
Gain: Real flight powers (vs. the virtual reality edition.) Flight with Kara has always struck me as an expression of freedom and joy, two things Alex has some difficulty with š . Iād like to see her try to access that feeling in pursuit of mastering the skill.
Sacrifice: Alex is a human so weāll make her lose her DEO training š
Jāonn:
Gain: Magic! Lena has had difficulty managing her strong emotions to be able to control the effects of her magic; Iād like to see Jāonn have to forgo his rational, stoic way of doing things in favor of accessing the emotions he experiences daily deeply.
Sacrifice: His mind reading! We donāt know for sure how often Jāonn actively reads peopleās minds, but given his slowness to trust and fairly cautious personality, itād be interesting to see him try to navigate without that safety net.

Definitely some Alex & Kara time for party planning activitiesā both because Alex getting married is exciting and also as a callback to season 3 to show that they are in fact Okay now, separately and together, and in a place where theyāre ready to celebrate. Also wouldāve loved if Nia had been the one to suggest a venue that was a little bit more Gay Culture.
In terms of the guest list, it would have been fun to have it be just the female characters since thatās not something weāve gotten this season. Bonus points if Yvette joins in, and having Sam turn up would be great as well!
