as someone who has experienced a lot of stuff in life that has made me… quite sensitive to things pertaining to Chris Brown and men like him, I’m actually really hurt by BTS cozying up to him. It sucks because I’ve been an ARMY for like a decade, but this… I don’t know. I feel like my perception of them has changed and it breaks my heart because their music was a massive part of what got me through a lot of the stuff I experienced, and now I don’t know if I can put the rose tinted glasses back on. It’s my fault for expecting better from them. Sigh. The worst part is that it was literally my two biases.

One more thing… let’s start with Queen Z: Zendaya SHOCKED ME.

that TWIST????? Like I realised one second before the twist happened that it was Jean in MJ’s mind and I was SHOCKED. Zendaya played that shit SO FUCKING WELL OH MY GOD SHE IS SO FUCKING GOOD. Her range in this movie???? Jesus fuck. Like Zendaya’s been my girl since forever, but she continues to shock and wow me every time. Her and Tom did sooooo fucking good, my god. Tom was fucking OUTSTANDING. His portrayal of emotion is wondrous and he just stuns me. Tomdaya and Sadie were fucking POWERHOUSES in this movie. And don’t even get me started on Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo, I will drone on and on about them when I wake up to give my full review. This movie has drained my emotions, I need to sleep lol.

Just finished watching Brand New Day. Credits are rolling. Partial Review (full review later/tomorrowbutactuallytodaybecauseitsoneinthemorningandineedtosleeponthis: I cried. A lot. Sobbed. Tried not to audibly bawl. The message really hit me. I don’t have to do this alone.

And Sadie was absolutely amazing as Jean Grey. I really love the intense emotional depth they gave to her character here. For anyone who had doubts, Sadie was the right choice for Jean. Her portrayal was different to what we’ve seen of Jean in live action and I love where they took her story. I can’t wait for more of her.
