Soo idk if it's just my fyp but I've always loved dance trends. And recently there's a new dance trend which I LOOOVEE bc the song is so funkyyy. It just scratches that itch in my brain that I wasn't even aware of, I can't get enough of it. The song is called "Random Switch (remix)" by Carpe Diem and it's awesome.

After hearing that part of the song, i - like any normal person would do - went to yt music and played the song. Needless to say I loved it sm. And so I spent yesterday's entire walk with my headphones on, listening to the rest of the album and other songs of the artist.

Ofc i remember thinking it was kinda weird how all of the songs were very similar but I didn't care because I liked the vibe so, yk, dont look a gift horse in the mouth or whatever. I should have

This morning I was gonna listen some more, I open spotify, search for the artist, and surprise what do I find?? 10-15 albums or so, ALL published on 2026, with almost IDENTICAL covers and no information whatsoever on the artist. Are you fucking telling me all of the songs I spent almost 2h listening yesterday were made by AI?? Are you srs rn?? Am I that oblivious that I only started suspecting when I searched for the author??

And I start looking into it. All of the songs with generic titles, all of them more or less 2 min long, hell, even the ARTIST'S name is generic. Carpe diem?? Cmonnn

The real question here is why am I writing the only complaint here? Why hasn't anybody commented abt this?? Bc this "artist" in spotify has 39K PEOPLE LISTENING TO THEIR MUSIC. And not ONE comment in social media????

Idk if I'm being paranoid or if I'm overreacting just for an ai songwriter on spotify but I just hate that someone had the GREAT idea (sarcastic) to ask some freaking robot to do a bunch of songs and now their song is famous. Just. Have some creativity people.

First thing the first movie established was that a night fury never misses

And yes, throughout the series I don't recall a single instance where Toothless missed his aimed shot. His accuracy allowed him to remove every piece of Ryker's armour without even singeing him.

But I recall multiple moments where Hiccup dodged his plasma blasts when they were shot at him due to Toothless being out of control for some reason; either bcoz of eels or parasites or when he was sick enough by blue oleanders to sneeze mini plasma blasts.

I just find it neat that Hiccup is probably the only person in the franchise who has dodged a night fury's shots multiple times, adds a deeper layer to him and Toothless being halves of a whole and Hiccup having the soul of a dragon

Imagine hiccup singly softly in the middle of a forest clearing, sun peaking through the leaves to illuminate him beautifully. His fingers gently pull on the guitar strings, a soft melody filling the air comprised of his voice and instrument. Toothless lays curled around him, dozing happily. Other dragons slowly, carefully, as if scared of being chased away, surround the pair, the nest joining to listen to hiccups soft voice.

Little sister oc is adorable, strong and smart, but more of a cinnamon roll. Kinda like hiccup! Or maybe she’s a gremlin, the brothers try to keep her out of trouble or maybe try and keep her away from the war all together.

The brothers might be very protective, and the only reason they haven’t killed each other yet is for her sake.

While that’s cute, a big sister oc is more mature, maybe even regal in a way.

Maybe the Oc is insanely smart, possibly smarter then Viggo, and really strong, more of Ryker’s physical strength, don’t get me wrong Viggo is very strong, stronger then Hiccup physically, but Ryker is stronger then Viggo.

What if Oc is a dragon rider? But one with twisted morals. Like, “the only dragon I care for is mine, every other can die for profits or a battle strategy involving sacrifice.” But the oc still care for dragons in a more twisted way sometimes, and it’s just mixed signals with her. She’ll kill dragons but she’ll show compassion to most in creepy ways.

What if Her mind is almost deranged, her understanding of people is creepy. But she has a certain compassion for her brothers

AND BOTH VIGGO AND RYKER ARE SCARED OF SAID OC? IMAGINE HOW COOL THAT WOULD BE! YET NOBODY HAS WRITTEN ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. IS THE VIGGO GRIMBORN FAN COMMUNITY THIS SMALL???

Actually there's at least one!! I read one some months ago where viggo and ryker have a little sister who's practically hiccup's twin (same looks, same personality) and they keep them apart like their lives depend on it (they probably do), but turns out they know each other! It was a series of one-shots in ao3 with even some awesome drawings but it wasn't complete. Sadly, I don't remember the name either :(

However I really love the idea of big sister grimborn!!! Pls give me traveller, experienced warrior big sister grimborn who absolutely scares the shit out of her little brothers, now THAT'S hilarious.

Also, dragon rider?? With twisted morals?? AWESOME. Maybe she left because of that?? Or maybe they were threatening to kill or sell off her dragon so she ran away?? Was she banished by her tribe??? THE POSSIBILITIES

Actually, the big sister Oc didn’t run away, she just out traveling. Getting experience, maybe even has her own business, even army. Maybe she trains other dragon riders, and has clashed with Drago, or European or Scottish warlords. Or maybe she did, but this is going off a, she’s insanely smart, strong and scares the living everything out of her brothers.

I feel like she’s close with the brothers, she scares them, but she cares in a twisted way. Y’know? There her little brothers, she wouldn’t hurt them too seriously, she might remind them who the older sibling is sometimes. And I feel like the big sister Oc would see Hiccup and the gang as a challenge to understand. Not ally’s. Because nobody has ridden dragons (that she knows of) but her!

I’m actually thinking of writing a fic on this now. I’m falling down this rabbit hole too, and Since you seem interested in the idea do you wanna help? It’s always more fun to do it in twos ☺️

Ok so if I recall correctly the things I’ve heard about the third movie (still haven’t watched it, likely won’t at the very least for a while)… Toothless leaves Hiccup for a girl? Or at least that’s part of it?

I have my other complaints about other things I’ve heard about the movie, but that especially is a complaint I have if it’s true because, just,,, no. No! That is not how best friends work and Hiccup and Toothless are best friends at minimum and in my opinion it’s at least some kind of platonic soulmate level of best friendship

And I can guarantee if you have such a close best friendship that you do not let a romantic relationship with someone else get between you and your best friend (shoutout to my own best friend that I consider my platonic soulmate and other half who neither of us have ever let any romantic relationships we get into affect our closeness and dedication to each other)
