non horny post incoming but!! i have a project idea that i could use some advice on from those who are more internet literate than i am

basically i write a lot of poetry and have started doing readings locally and people have started asking me where they can find more of my work…and currently the answer is nowhere, bc i refuse to self publish thru amazon/big companies and have a lot of hesitation posting on online platforms bc of how rampant plagiarism is within the online poetry community

i do make zines which is nice but the printing cost out of pocket isn’t great now that i’m having increased demand. i read a thing in a zine about zines/writing that it’s a good idea to get ur own website so u “own” ur online space and the content posted on it?? and was wondering if anyone had more info abt that

would it be a good idea to figure out how to purchase and make my own website for my writing to archive it online to make it more accessible for people who are looking for it? how would i go about that?
