A lot of trans rhetoric is based in the idea that there is some innateness to the self and gender is inborn which. I feel like should be the opposite of our primary arguing point. If you were to ask me about it for once
I guess the "issue", if you could call it that, is that trans people arent a monolith and we all feel pretty different about it internally. But even if you do feel like your gender is innate we should still be able to agree that "trans people were born the wrong gender" is a less useful starting point than "gender, even in cis people, is largely self expression, and the self changes all the time"
