A Guild Wars 2 fangame about hunting treasures in a large world.

One of the biggest visual change is the addition of a new global illumination method using UE5's Lumen. Compared to previous method (that is still available), it improves significantly the lighting in many places, especially in occluded areas.

In open areas, changes can be more subtle (some before/after to compare for these interested). But overall, it makes everything blend better together, and this is why I decided to integrate it. Several areas had to be reworked to work well with this new method. Can you spot the differences?

A new skin system allows you to change the look of the player character! You can change it through the inventory panel! Who knows, maybe in the future we can add even more skins here? :D

A new dialogue history allows you to see previous dialogues if you missed something! This is one of the little quality of life changes of this update.

This update is not the additional chapter I've been working on for few years now. I am still working on it, don't worry! And you might even find some hidden changes in preparation for it 👀 I hope you will have fun nonetheless with this new version! Thank you! ❤️

These would be done outside of my normal commission work and personal workload, but I find it helpful to look at others for inspiration when in a slump. There's no time limit on this, so you might reblog now and suddenly get art 5 months from now lol. The pieces will range from being part of a sketch page to a standalone illustration depending on how I'm feeling. 💙

Loves everything that glitters and has ribbons on it. She will usually wear something pink or purple that makes her look like a princess, al

This is Ronnée. Smol Asura who loves to wear things with glitter and ribbons attached. It often looks rather silly I stead of cute because she isn't exactly pretty, and usually wears a grump expression on her face. Her character is, well... Not nice. She's incredibly clever, but also incredibly nasty and will do everything as long as she gains profit from it. Most of her time is spent in the laboratory of the Cybernetics Krewe, where she is the main brain in developing prosthetics of all kinds and for all races. She also has a huge interest in golemancy and everything related to Snaff.

It's officially time...

Scribes of Calamity is celebrating its 10th anniversary! This blog started as a little love letter to the first game I really fell in love with. I started doing gold commissions for like 5 gold back at the start of college when I started playing. Since that time, Scribes of Calamity has blossomed into my actual art brand, and the creativity and love this community has shared over the years has continually inspired me. There are so many days I would not have gotten through without the magic that is Tyria and the strength found in the Commander's story. I'm eternally grateful for this community and game, and I hope to be around for many more years.

Wys is ~15 here, running on the assumption that Asuran college = highschool years (Taimi was 13ish when she began studying)

We don't get a lot of insight into college culture, but if it's full of teenagers, it's full of teenage drama. Wysma doesn't learn how to be assertive- or confident- until much later, so he gets pushed around a bit 😌

It‘s scary to see how very important european petitions get no visibility whatsoever. We had a basic income petition last year which failed because not enough people knew about it. Now we have a „tax the rich“ one that only lasts until october this year and only has around 250k out of 1 mio. signings.

Most EU people go through their every day life w/o knowing about them. There are no ads, no marketing…nothing. I know that costs money though one might think important petitions that lead to a better and progressive life would be supported by the government or ministries in some way, but nooooo

And why should they? It’s petitions that would help out the poor and middle class, but endanger capitalism and their exploitation, sooo: government and business leads for example.

The ideal thing about living almost full time in the middle of Canada’s boreal forest in a remote wildfire lookout tower is being the only soul around for hundreds of miles. No one except the occasional extremely determined and experienced hiker comes out this far on a four day three night expedition and they never stay long here. At least, that’s what usually happens.

Today has decided to be different because he has decided to be different. Whoever he is, he probably knows exactly who I am and what I can do because he walked right into the minimum distance of my telepathy and just…stopped. Normally, that’s not a problem, people take breaks all the time and the base of the tower is technically a trail marker though I’m not obligated to talk to anyone.

It took a few tries but I have part three!

The first real hint that something is wrong when I get into Jackson’s lookout tower isn’t that the door is unlocked, it’s that he’s asleep on his back when I know for a fact that he’s a side sleeper. He’s tucked up tight into his cot even though it’s August and not having a restful sleep based on the pinched eyebrows on his face. There’s a closed leather book on his stomach; at first, I think it’s his journal but the letter on top addressed to me with my full name—which Jackson knows better than to use—and not written in his terrible chicken scratch says otherwise. Taped to it is a small pill container with a single, unremarkable, grey stone inside. A pebble, really.

There are no signs of a struggle, but Jax was always a light sleeper; he shouldn’t be this out of it when I’m making no effort to be quiet. Something happened and it happened because of me, but who would have known I was coming? Or was this left knowing Jax would reach out to me?
