I'm thinking some how or other June may end up with Serena's baby... better June than any of crazies from Gilead.
I'm not a fan of Serena's for many reasons, two biggest being how she treated June when she was in Gilead and because she was one if not the main architect to whole bullshit that is Gilead and by doing so betraying all her follow females. But I must say I had very similar feelings as June did during the episode towards Serena. Like when June basically fights with herself in the car but in the end decides to stay and help Serena I truly felt that struggle. Because that part of herself that won't allow June just to drive away and leave Serena to suffer no matter what Serena has done to June in the past. She will battle with herself but that goodness let's call it always gonna win in the end. I know I would of done the same thing if push came shove. But I'm still tremendously upset then to have Luke the useless blob come walking in and foul everything up that June just went through with Serena. When he has no idea that's some shit went down between the two women that did not involve him preusual and just to made a situation that was fixing itself worse. Could Luke refrain from doing anything unless June tells him to too, that seems the only time that hes really useful. With me Luke boils downs to being one example of toxic masculinity. Not as badly as the man in Gilead obviously but still not helpful. He still I think in a lot of ways June as a damsel in distress that he needs to save. Which is not who she is perhaps at one point before the events of Gilead she may have been a woman in that vain to him but not any longer. That's why someone like Nick is better for June. Their equals in their partnership, June and Luke aren't.
