Manifestation techniques: The 10 Minute Method
I want to introduce posts discussing techniques you can use to help you manifest your desired reality. They can be very helpful and I always like having something informative to reference.
**Disclaimer: techniques aren’t a “secret” or 100% guaranteed way for you to get your manifestation. They are meant to help you if you’re struggling to manifest your DR, and everyone is different with what does and doesn’t help them.
It is taking a 10 minute break out of your day to sit quietly and focus on affirming. Think of it like a meditation session.
I BELIEVE Sammy Ingram is the one who created this technique, but don’t quote me on that. She, at the very least, introduced it to all her viewers and talks about it a lot. She encourages taking three 10 minute breaks at different points throughout your day to affirm. This way, you’re taking time to actively affirm and help lead your mind into constant persistence through those bits of repetition. But, you can do it as many times as you feel necessary.
Like I said, the bits of focus and repetition are helpful to keep persistence going. Sometimes, you just need that bit of focus on what you’re manifesting to get your subconscious to believe you have what you want.
I also feel like it doesn’t put a lot of pressure onto you since you’re taking a breather and relaxing your mind. Plus, it’s not a long chunk of time to take out of your day to do.
Has it helped a lot of people?
Absolutely. I’ve seen a ton of people comment on Sammy’s videos about success after using the 10 minute method. There’s a reason it’s talked about a lot in the LOA/LOASS community.
I myself have had success after using this technique and really like it a lot. I used it the most when I was manifesting my house because this was a really big manifestation for me. I’m also someone who deals with bad anxiety and has a million tabs open in my mind all the time. So, doing something to calm my mind and focus on what’s most important helps me a lot.
How to implement it throughout your day
Let’s say you’re manifesting a house (like I was just talking about), but you’ve got a busy work schedule. Here’s what you can do:
- Find time before you go to work to have a 10 minute session. Maybe wake up 10 minutes earlier if you have to.
- Take 10 minutes out of your lunch break to affirm, even if you have to put your headphones in while you’re in the break room.
- Take 10 minutes when you get home from work and/or before you go to bed to affirm.
- Repeat in your mind or on paper the same affirmation over and over (ex. “I got my dream home.”) and/or visualize your manifestation your manifestation over and over.
- Make sure to set an alarm for 10 minutes.
- Put in your headphones or put on background noise (like a tv show you’ve watched over and over) if you need to. Just make sure it doesn’t distract you. (I personally love listening to calming instrumental music like jazz, piano, or lofi).
- Sit or lay down. Like I said before, make it like meditation.
- Be diligent about doing it until your mind understands that you have it. It doesn’t have to be until you see something in your 3D reality. Remember: we’re not looking for what we already have. Set reminders to do it, if you have to.
