Today marks a whole year of hitting 10,000+ steps a day! It’s pretty cool, and 100% thanks to finally having a job where I can keep my phone and fitbit on all day to measure my steps and a lovely walk-able commute that gets me extra steps every day with no extra effort. Taking time today to just feel incredibly grateful and lucky for this job and all the freedom it’s given me!! I worked some shite jobs before this one and my mind is still blown at how different the environment at this company is, and what a huge impact it makes on my mental and physical health. 💪🔥
I’m up to week three of my 10k training program, and I’m nearly reaching the distance already!! It’s difficult but as long as I take care not to injure myself I know I can do this and it’s so rewarding and weirdly fun? I always liked running but now I’m really in the habit I get so excited to go. 🦵✨ Hoping to hit the full distance soon and then slowly up my pace a little to get a full 10k in under an hour 😱
