Hello October,I’m about to kick yo ass
Starting with a 10 mile run 🏃🏼♀️
LRC ten miler night. My half marathon training is clearly having a positive effect. Was the first time I’ve ran that far without feeling like death at the end of it 😁 #smashedit #running #runningmotivation #runninggoals #runninggirl #cardio #cardiogoal #strava #stravarunning #10miles #10miler (at Telford) https://www.instagram.com/p/Btjo4A6HZKR/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=pti79fwdp759
It was a rough long run yesterday!! I have no idea what caused it but my gut was twisted the entire run which didn't alow me to get I'm the right headspace! I was able to push through while every part of me screamed to give up!! These are the runs that are most necessary in my opinion. #run #runner #running #trailrunner #trailrunning #longrun #10miles #runningman #runningcolorado #therapyrun #meditationrun #coalcreektrail #runaddict #runnerd #runchat #runblog (at Coal Creek Trail)
Conquering my goals one mile at a time…or 10 💁🏽
10 miles around my home town in this ridiculous fleece headband and sunglasses combo😂 Gotta love British weather 🇬🇧
I gave up worrying about my pace because it was stealing my joy now I focus on completing this silly goal #halfmarathontraining #running #determined #goals #10miles/16k
Knackered myself out
My longest long training run!! So I have run both a 10 mile and a half both during a race!! Doing 10 miles on a training run is much different!! Luckily @thepocketsquare was with me and slowed down with me when the back half of the run started really taking its toll!! We did both parts of the Coal Creek trail I have shared. The first five miles was great and I was going strong and mostly downhill. It was the back 5 miles that the sun started pounding and the steady low grade to midgrade uphill started to wear on me and almost made me stop!! I also didn't sleep very well because I had to run my wife to the airport early this morning before I hit the trails!! I was already emotionally drained and keeping myself going truly was a test of determination!! I came clise to giving up several times!! I made it!! It was a bit slow but I still made it and in my mind that is what matters!! I'm very proud of the accomplishment and I look forward to doing this again in two weeks!! Thanks @thepocketsquare for sticking it out with me and excepting the slow pace!! It really helped a lot!! I hope everyone has a great run day!! I look forward to being back on the trails Tuesday... I'm having a well deserved rest day tomorrow!! Now I'm off to roll and soak and to try to get a bit of rest.
