2012 rasey is the best tmnt ship Solely due to the fact that it’s so damn funny

Like imagine your Donnie right, amazing I know. and you’ve been living your entire life with only your brothers and father. and the first time you go to the surface you meet this girl. And she is, at least to you, amazing. she’s nice,cute,somewhat emotionally intelligent, human, and at least mostly ok with you being a giant mutant turtle.

And you are down bad like clinically heartsick and for whatever reason you genuinely think you have a chance with her.

And then you and your brothers accidentally get her dad mutated . Ok so you know Not a great but you know shit happens and then when your following (stalking) her because she refuses to talk to you due to the aforementioned mutation of dad and you see her interacting with this guy this human guy and you immediately assume their on a date because ??? Reasons presumably but you don’t meet this guy until April starts talking to you again (I think I haven’t watched 12 in a hot minute) and the sole reason you meet him is because he got into a fight with you brother while he was performing illegal vigilantism with hockey sticks and 0 training

And this man is annoying, stupid and rude but he’s human and April seems to at least tolerate him so you kinda have to deal with him. It doesn’t help that he is still flirting with April but there’s not really anything you can do about it

And eventually you come to at least some point of some amiability and even later (I am not summarizing the entirety of the relationship between Donnie and Casey we just do not have the time ) he seems to lose interest in April and you two are pretty much friends

And the right after he starts dating your fucking twin brother

Something I find really funny in TMNT 12 is the parallel between the turtles and the Mighty Mutanimals, particularly in their debut episode "Battle for New York"

Mikey is paralleled with Leatherhead and makes sense because Leatherhead is kind like Mikey is and also one of Mikey's closest friends

Donnie is paralleled with Dr. Rockwell. And again, they both pretty much have the same role in their respective teams. And their both sassy geniuses who have a sort of rivalry going on this episode

And Leo is paralleled with Slash, with Leo seeming to have a bad blood when it comes to the latter due to what he had done in the past. They're both leaders too and Leo accepts Slash at the end.

Anyways, what I find absolutely hilarious is the final remaining parallel. While the other three brothers are paralleled and dynamically paired with the Mutanimals who are like them or happen to be a close friend in Leatherhead and Mikey's case, Raph gets placed with Pigeon Pete

They don't have any similarities in their roles or personality, they aren't old friends, there's absolutely nothing indicating Raph should be paralleled with Pigeon Pete except that these two are the only ones remaining after the other three of both teams are placed together for reasons.

I just think it's funny

And also, it's a lot funnier to think that since Raph is a certified Disney Princess who talks to animals and has probably befriended half the pigeons of the city, maybe pre-mutation Pigeon Pete was among those countless pigeons Raph befriended.

TMayNT Day 4: Baby Turtles (@tmaynt thank you for doing this challenge, I keep forgetting to tag you aaaaaalskdjflksjl)

When i saw "baby turtles" I tried to decide which babies to draw, then was thinking about how the '87 turtles weren't ever Baby Mutant Ninja Turtles, except for the two episodes where some of them got de-aged (Leonardo and Michelangelo in one episode, and Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael in the other). And I've always thought how it was funny that Leonardo was de-aged both times and therefore never had to take care of any turtle tots, and then I was like, "okay, so I'm going to give them ALL to him" lol

(why are they there? why are they all little? Who knows, does it even matter lol)
