Scabs that are hard to remove…
Pretty much Robert’s life unfortunately… sigh.
Then 😔…
Later …
Would it have made any difference later on? Doubt it… same result.

Robert Sugden: Karl Davies (2005 - FINAL YEAR!)
You might be comfortable covering for your rabble but, after last night’s performance, Robert’s no son of mine. (Part 2.3)
Jack drags Robert to the Kings (with Andy and Daz tagging along). In very clear terms, Jack tells the Kings the field is NOT for sale, end of story. If they persist, he will go to the coppers about Jimmy and that their company’s reputation will suffer. Matthew believes Jack is bluffing because of Robert but, to Jack, Robert is no longer his son and would rather see him locked up! Jack also tells a shattered Robert to get out of his home asap.

How DARE you rake all that up just for your own defense! (Part 2.2)
Well, no one else is gonna defend me, are they? Bad boy Robert… just a waste of space.
Second of three scenes. THIS scene, this… this is what would stick with Robert for his entire life forward. The way Jack puts him down every which way possible (without even considering motivations behind it)… that Andy will always be the better man, how ashamed he is of him and that it’s the ever forgiving, gracious Andy that should be disowning him. Robert being so messed up isn’t so surprising. Oh, and while Robert brings up Andy’s past as a defense (including killing Sarah), Jack bemoans him for it yet he does the exact same with Robert’s past. The producer/storyliners went full tilt to widely slant and divide the differences between the two brothers for Robert’s exit storyline.

So what if I did do it? I’d do it all over again if I had the chance. (Part 2.1)
The first of three scenes has Robert denying the accusations against him. Well, that is, until Andy riles him up so much especially bringing up Katie that he admits to what he did.

It was you, wasn’t it? I KNOW it was you! (Part 1.2)
Jack finds Robert at the garage where he tells his dad a tale where he was overnight. Jack essentially orders Robert to come home that minute. Back home, Andy and Daz show up. Jack decides they need to go to the police to report Jimmy, Cain and an unknown third person set fire to the barn and attacked Andy. Even before they get to the door, Jack outright points the finger at Robert being the third person!

He’s hardly whiter than white. (Part 1.1)
Callum pops in on Zoe’s behalf having heard about the fire. Andy assures Daz no one is gonna get away with what happened at the farm. Apparently Robert hasn’t been home and Jack doesn’t know what’s going on still puzzled why he’d have done something like that (he really doesn’t see Robert does he?) but then again, maybe it’s the Kings trying to shift the blame. At the garage, Cain makes sure Robert did his bit. Matthew lies to Robert’s face about blabbing to Jack.
