Our Happily Ever Afters

I never realized,

How beautiful she was,

Until I saw her soul.

I was so lost within myself,

That when I saw her soul,

I couldn’t believe it was her.

Her smiles, her skin,

was all mask,

I stood in wonder,

as i saw what held beneath.

She had camoflouged,

Her appearance, her beauty,

What I saw left me mesmerized.

Her soul was like a flower,

soft velvety petals swaying,

in the swirling wind.

Her presence like a swift breeze,

Gentle on the face,

Enlightening in the heart.

And blossoming and growing,

All the same,

As I watered her with my love.

With love she flourished,

All the miseries perished,

Our world no more tarnished.

My heart, too nourished,

And my soul reborn,

Once again.

With your soul,

Mine ignited anew,

Together we flew.

In a land

Where we could live,

Our happily ever afters.
