Ryland Grace: Standard AAC tablet. He’s used to modeling AAC at school so he is a lot more okay with people looking at the screen than most. If you tried that with Stratt she’d shut you up with a death stare. It’s also neon green with a smiley face ‘this is my voice’ sticker.
Eva Stratt: Text to speech software. She keeps one of those little phone keyboards on her for maximum speed debate at all times, but mainly uses it through her laptop. She also has like seven different voices for different languages she speaks, and autocorrect is the bane of her existence when typing in any of them that the computer isn’t built for.
Carl: prefers ASL, but uses his phone when necessary. He’s always turning the volume up and down.
Olyesa: Can switch between literally every system you give her with ease, and suggested that her AAC be connected to the ship speakers, making things easier for Rocky in the long run.
Rocky (human au): standard tablet with word symbols, but he also has twenty gazillion communication cards for different situations, all with meticulously chosen pictures,
