Question: what are y'all's headcanon(s) about Dick in the Absolute universe ?

Personnally, I think it would be interesting if they kept his backstory, but instead of being adopted by Bruce while he's on the hunt for Zucco in juvie, he actually manages to find him, and nearly succeeds in killing him.

While he is still an incredible acrobat, he's never fought armed men before, since he never got to be Robin, and is overpowered by Zucco's men.

Except now, Zucco's got a very angry kid with a lot of skills on his hands, and so to protect his operations, he folds Dick into the fray and makes him into a sort of special attack dog.

If his half-sister is canon in this verse too, it could make even more sense. He'd have two Graysons protecting him, he'd probably get a kick out of it, and it would be an easy way to introduce melinda since the beginning.

Ok, so evidently Dick Grayson is going to turn up in the absolute universe. I haven't read any of the comics and I can't say I care. Dick is in quite a lot of comics already and every new version is something that might be a terrible take on the character... But who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind in the future. Anyone excited about the idea of an absolute Nightwing or Robin?
