If you make fun of disabled people and special interests, even in a “joking” manner, you deserve to get hit by a fucking truck.

Adrift
I'm floating adrift in the ocean of my mind No sail or rudder to steer or defy the tide With no lack of wanting but a lack of a guide It’s easy to miss when you aim without a sight
And while I do my floating, no actions will occur That might seem quite peaceful, I can see the allure But with no land in sight, will I make it, I'm not sure Adrift in my mind with zero prospects of a cure
Nothing gets done and no revelations are found Afloat in my head as I fall through the ground Nothing to grab onto, in detachment I drown Reality fleeing as darkness surrounds
I can't be alone, there's gotta be other neurodivergents out there with a special interest but a shit memory.
Yeah, I'm super into certain topics, I read about them and watch documentaries about them and even film my own YouTube shorts about them. But if you ask me for details two days later, I can only give you vague outlines.
Does a "special interest" always have to mean that you can monologue about it for 20 minutes?
Tumblr is an incredible place cus you get "You people can't do anything" culture of folks acting like neurodivergent people are all lazy pathetic assholes for being Disabled by their Disability, and then on the other hand you have the Neurodivergent™️ folks on here who act like you are personally crucifying them when it's suggested that self improvement is a good thing to work on in general.
When i Suffer from ADHD Paralysis and executive dysfunction and my parent say its because i am away from God
Girl bye and im a hellenic polytheist on top of that.
I hate parents that reject their child just for turning out different from what they wanted. Its the most selfish ,evil , disgusting mindset to reject someone you created or took in, that you are biologically wired and obligated to love and protect ,and then face them with hate and rejection for who they are.
I can handle my family rejecting me a bit better, because they've been rejecting and neglecting me since the beginning. But when I see a trans woman talk about her family rejecting her only once she came out as trans , and I see the pain in her eyes ,it makes my soul burn. That family had been loving and supportive to her all her life, her father had been her best friend, but only one epiphany about her selfhood was enough for them to turn on her, throw her away like she is trash? What kind of parent does that to their child?
If this is all it takes to completely change their mind ,their love was never real to begin with! These people are the lowest scum of this earth and I sincerely hope they loose everything, just to feel what its like for their daughter. People like that don't deserve to live comfortably after doing such inhuman shit.
This video is absolute gold by the way, The enemies project itself has a great concept that more people should understand.
Ok this may seem like nothing to a lot of people but...
I cleaned my kitchen floor today.
Before I had a small pathway to the sink and the refrigerator. Now I can MOVE.
I followed the guidance of that crisis cleaning mode post I reblogged over the weekend, and I kept the decision to do it today.
I have bad executive dysfunction, and while not officially diagnosed, speaking to my therapist and my psych nurse they both agree that I'm very likely to be AuDHD. I got on medication for the ADHD and after missing a month due to a fuck up on the pharmacy portion not refilling it, I'm back on it and...omg the improvement.
I can focus, I can keep decisions I've made, and am able to complete projects much easier. (See the crochet dolls especially!)
I'm so proud of myself, and I feel like I can tackle pieces of this house and be able to do something more with my position.
My inattentive adhd ass is not reading your long rambling adhd ass post 😭
