I HAVE to ask about winterhawk you know that 👀
I love that you have to ask me about winterhawk since you are more of a stony person but thank you because not enough people ask me or talk to me about winterhawk these days. *sobs*
What made you ship it? @pensversusswords I once asked her why she would ship them of all people and she explained it in a post I can’t find anymore and than pointed me towards sara_holmes and once one reads The Winterhawk Fanfiction there is no way back. Tho I did start with an Coffeshop!AU that also has my beloved SteveTony in it because you gotta start with cute fluff before you start the sloooooooooooooowburn right?
Now why did I think they are a match after reading those fanfics? As I have said a few times before, they just fit. They are both fucked up if you like the mcu background, they are both just similar. I don’t know I’m bad at putting it into words like this but they just really really really fit each other. Tho most of my headcanons are not MCU or rather I mix a few different universes together with fanon into my perfect universe :D
What are your favorite things about the ship?

I love Winterhawk as that funny couple as much as anybody else, the bickering, the bantering, the competitiveness, the pranks, the video games, using insults as petnames, the jokes, and so on.
But their quiet moments? That’s what really gets me. Bucky carrying an asleep Clint to bed, holding onto each other after a nightmare, helping with the ptsd, Clint waking up before Bucky for once seeing Bucky next to him and being happy, Bucky seeing photos of him with Clint compared to pictures of him from a few years ago and thinking how Clint brought his smile back,sweet quiet love confessions, Bucky learning asl so he can always talk to Clint, Bucky trusting Clint with cutting his hair, being able to fall asleep in the arms of the other even with people around because they feel safe, having a hard and mentally draining day and only being able to relax in each other’s company, being close to each other even tho they are doing different things simply because they enjoy being together, like man, Clint and Bucky’s quiet and soft moments is what really gets me.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
Okay, now its time to be honest, no matter how much I love me boys, I haven't read a new fanfic in like 3 years, because ADHD and what not so I'm kinda out of the loop of what are popular or unpopular opinions about them, sorry :(
