Sotha Sil: It finally happened:
Sotha Sil: Someone asked me where the library was in Aldmeris.
Sotha Sil: I’ve been training for this since high school.
Pyandonea
'I had never set foot on the white sands beyond the tempest. I didn't know how the salted breeze dulled the fierce touch of the sun, or how the roots of the trees clambered above the ground, as though they wished to be closer to the sky. I did not understand warm days bathing in the shallows, or basking in the dusky light, or the cool caress of the mists that split the islands from old Aldmeris.'
An Aldmeris before their downfall 😪 I’ve had way too much fun doing these little icons 🫣
Tamriel is of course just one continental system on the planet Nirn. How many others are out there is a matter of conjecture, for the oceans of Mundus are as dangerous to travel as the pathways of Oblivion. [Thras, Pyandonea, Akavir, Yokuda, Aldmeris, and Atmora] have had some influence on Tamriel, but perhaps other lands, far away, also exist, waiting inclusion in some future edition of this Guide.

I’ve been having a lot of fun messing around with the xVASynth. Starting to get the hang of it, tho still a bit robotic. Here is the script with the translation: “Chare daga na Aetherius rahtan, avma nu shantia ver mor Lorkhanu. Ann nu rahtanane le, nu vashane abali ae abaraena av Mundus.”
To kill Man is to reach Heaven, from where we came before the Doom Drum's iniquity. When we accomplish this, we can escape the mockery and long shame of the Material Prison.
Do you have an opinion on the continent of Aldmeris? You know, the one that may not actually exist in-universe (but is still portrayed on all maps)?
Okay so this took me a bit because I had to do some thinking on it!
So Aldmeris. Literally only a non canon source says it’s 100% made up, but for whatever reason that’s given more credit than the in game stuff. Basically, my opinion on it is it is not completely real or completely fake, but that it’s one of those things that should remain unknown.
From a meta standpoint, I don’t want a game to say “Oh yeah it’s fake” because that ruins the entire point of having a place like that. Some may think it’s a cool twist, but it’s honestly pretty lame and a cop out if say Atlantis: The Lost Empire had no Atlantis.
But on the other side of it, I never want a game to involve traveling there. At most, if there was some sort of going there in a dream or memory, that would be cool, but it needs to stay hidden, mysterious and lost, otherwise, what’s the point?
