The Morningstar Pack - Chapter 2:
The day that Adam had met Lucifer in Eden had been one of the best days of his life. He had been all alone until the angel had shown up. To Adam's delight, they had become fast friends.
Soon enough, Lucifer had started to visit the first man every day and explored the garden with him. When Adam had questions, Lucifer would do his best to answer them. When he had thoughts and ideas, the other would listen and ask questions of his own.
"You know, you don't have to keep those odd things on here in Eden."
Lucifer had just laughed and looked down at himself. "You mean my robes and hat? I suppose you're right, but it would feel... wrong... in a way."
"Really? Why? I don't have whatever robes are on. Why should you?"
"Ah. Well, things are a little different up in Heaven. We need to keep covered unless it's during mating season for us."
Adam hadn't understood why, and Lucifer seemed uncomfortable talking about it. So, he was left to wonder about it and try to figure it out on his own. Until the day he finally saw the angel without his robes.
While Lucifer had been showing the first man his creation that had been added to the garden, ducks, he had fallen into the water. It had left the cloth heavy and clinging to his tiny body.
Leaving his robe to dry over a tree branch, Lucifer had come to stand next to Adam, hat in his hands. That left his halo floating around his head and messy, wet hair. It's the first thing he had noticed, other than a bashful smile and a light golden color on his pretty face.
Eyes traveling downward, Adam took in the pale, smooth skin, dainty hands and feet, (everything about the angel was small, wasn't it?) and how the other was using that silly hat to cover the area where Adam had his parts he had been told were to be used to reproduce.
Why did he hide them? It was just the two of them. He had seen Adam's. Did he have similar parts? Could he reproduce too?
He had so many questions to ask. However, something kept distracting him. There was a smell in the air. Sweeter than any flower in the garden. It was making his head spin and his body feel hot.
The first man could barely focus on his words. Not when those small and cool hands were holding his burning face. Was that smell getting stronger or closer? Where was it coming from?
"Your alpha fangs dropped! That's amazing... It happened sooner than expected. I need to tell Father so they can finish Lilith for you."
Did that mean the angel was going to leave? He didn't want him to leave! He needed Lucifer to stay with him! He didn't know what was happening and it was scaring him. He couldn't leave him all alone.
Without thinking, Adam had lunged forward and pinned Lucifer under him. Face in his neck, that smell was so much stronger and clouding his mind more than it already had. It was coming from Lucifer? That must be why it was so nice.
"A-Adam no! You shouldn't take in that much of my scent! It's not good for you- oh!~"
Adam wasn't sure what had caused Lucifer to stop trying to squirm away from him, but he wasn't going to think too hard about it right now. The most important thing currently was the beautiful angel under him.
The rest of it had been a blur. When he finally came back to his senses, Lucifer had flown off and left him confused and alone. Always alone...
Sitting alone in what looked like a poor attempt at a garden, Adam reflected back on his life. Of all the choices he had made that led up to this moment. Had he always been such a selfish, pushy jerk?
What had he even done to Lucifer that day? When he had come back, he hadn't seemed mad or scared or upset, but he never brought up what happened. He should ask him. And if he needed to, apologize.
Fuck. He still needed to apologize for that hissy fit he threw about being told no. God, he was such a dick, wasn't he? Nothing more than a spoiled brat. No wonder Lucifer always picked someone else over him.
That creepy fucker better take care of Lucifer and treat him right. He deserved it more than anyone else. Someone to treat him like he was loved and wanted.
If not, then Adam would kill him. He would succeed this time. Now, he had a check list. Apologize to Lucifer, get answers to his questions, and improve himself. He still had a daughter to get back to, after all.
