Language study methods?

I'm curious, what methods or applications (Quizlet, flascards, etc.) do other langblr's use to study language?

I use Quizlet to learn vocab and whatever online practice worksheets/games I can find for grammar.

I can't decide if I want to be a foreign language/ESL teacher or a veterinarian and those are very different careers 😬

Bought a "new" textbook that, I've noticed for a while now, has since-erased pencil markings in the margins. And I know I should be angry that I paid full price for a book that is, in fact, used. But the faded, erased notes left behind always put a smile on my face. Their handwriting ranges from rushed to careful. They circled their assigned questions and sometimes there's overlap, and I can learn from their faded, erased notes. Whoever they were, when I get most frustrated with my program, I wish they knew how encouraged I am when I stumble upon these little graphite ghosts.
