A/N: If you're new to my page and are wondering, "Who the hell are the Nort Brothers?" it's just a little headcanon/AU of mine that Vanitas, Xemnas, Ansem, and Y!Xehanort are Xehanort's sons. If you would like me to delve deeper into that, let me know in my ask box!

Vanitas:

Being friends with Vanitas is definitely an...experience.

But falling in love with him is a whole other story.

The first moment Vanitas started developing feelings for you was something he thought was bad.

He's a being of darkness! He shouldn't feel these kinds of feelings!

But his crush wouldn't go away! He even started sprouting different kinds of Unversed!

It eventually got to the point where he couldn't take it anymore and had to confess his feelings to you

He found you in (pick which world you want to be in), and he felt his non-existent heart skip a beat at your beauty.

He took a deep breath and walked over to you, gaining your attention

He was very awkward when confessing to you. He kept stumbling over his words until eventually he lost it and blurted out, "Date me, idiot!"

You were definitely shocked. You didn't think he felt the same as you did, let alone have him confess to you

By the time you gathered the words you wanted to say, Vanitas was ready to run away and hide in his lair of darkness

Vanitas flinched slightly as you cupped his cheek and felt a sense of relief as you confessed your love to him

From then on, Vanitas became more protective over you and vowed to stay by your side no matter what. Even if it meant betraying Xehanort. He would do it in a heartbeat

Xemnas:

Xemnas is a composed man (Nobody? You get what I'm trying to say). After all, he's the leader of the Organization.

Yet when he's around you, he lets himself let loose for a bit. The two of you have been friends since he was a small boy, just learning about the different worlds and darkness

Xemnas learned from a very young age that if he obeyed his father, he would become successful and complete Kingdom Hearts one day. Yet, he didn't want to let you suffer in the darkness.

So, he began planning. He would run away from his father and take you with him to build a new home. Where those who have fallen to darkness can feel safe and find their true purpose.

While on your guys' adventure to find your new home, the two of you began to develop feelings for each other and soon confessed your feelings to each other.

He made a silent vow to himself to marry you and make you his queen. And he did just that!

It was a small yet beautiful ceremony. Just you, him, his brothers, and a few members who had joined the Organization

Watching you walk down the aisle made him tear up. You looked so beautiful in that wedding dress

Both of your vows were beautiful, that it made even Lexaeus cry!

From then on, the two of you lived happily ever after

Ansem:

Being friends with you is quite the best thing ever to him. How the two of you share the love for animals and caring for them

He never denied having a crush on you, but he was scared of how you would react, or worse, how his father would react

When the day came when the two of you left, he confessed his feelings to you, which you greatly reciprocated

The two of you settled in Twilight Town and began to build the both of your careers.

The two of you created a nice animal sanctuary/hospital and rescued various animals

Eventually, Ansem became curious and wanted to know how you felt about kids, which you happily responded with yes

Soon the two of you had three healthy babies (aka The Twilight Town Trio)

Xeha:

Xeha is a bit of a brat sometimes, but never around you

Sure, he lets his real side show but he tones it down a bit so show that he can still be mature and not a gremlin like his older brother

The two of you love studying with each other. You learn different things with each other and help each other when you're struggling

Over time, though, he began to develop feelings for you and didn't know what to do.

He tried to deny them but they just kept coming back

It got to the point that even Era (aka Young Eraqus) was teasing him.

Soon, he couldn't take it anymore and went to confess to you, completely unaware that you felt the same way about him

When he heard that you felt the same way, he could've sworn he heard his heart skip a beat.

Over the course of the years, he became more protective of you. Watching more carefully during sparing and always going with you on missions.

He loves you so much and will do anything to make sure you're safe and happy

Xaldin:

Xaldin...is tricky

He's always a stern, cold man who only allows a few people into his friend circle

So being childhood friends with him is a privilege

He's always the kind of guy to be attentive to everyone's needs, even if they don't realize it yet

Now, him confessing to you? It's...very awkward to say the least

Keep in mind he's a Nobody. He doesn't know how to do the whole "feelings" thing, really

He stumbles over his words a lot when confessing to you, and he gets REALLY embarrassed

But, hearing that you feel the same, eased up his anxiety and made him forget about his embarrassing confession for just a little bit

When the two of you become an official couple, the two of you are UNSTOPPABLE!

I firmly believe that he and Lexaeus are the cooks of the Organization, so you best believe this man is cooking you a four course meal with dessert

Though now, the two of you have to be extra vigilant of Vexen watching over you two

Being childhood friends with Marluxia is definitely an exciting experience.

Before the two of you became Nobodies, the two of you were running around Daybreak Town, playing all sorts of games. Even pretending to be the Foretellers

Now, after the fall of Daybreak Town and the two of you becoming Nobodies, it felt as if you had become even closer

Marluxia is always a diva, there's no doubt about that. And when he realized that he started to have feelings for you, that diva-ness kind of disappeared for a bit

He couldn't think, he couldn't sleep. Every thought was just you. How your eyes shone in the light, how skilled you were with your weapon, how you always smiled when working with him

He had to confess to you! He just had to! But he was scared you weren't going to feel the same

Xemnas doesn’t even react as you lay dying. You always made the choice to stick around knowing he didn’t truly care for you, and now you had gone and sacrificed yourself for him. He didn’t ask you to do that, but it seemed a fitting end for a pawn to die for the king.

+ As with everything else, Ansem approaches his crush with absolute confidence when he courts them. Despite how much he tends to dominate a conversation, he always behaves within reason. He won’t make you feel overwhelmed with his charms, though he’s more than capable of getting you flustered with his words and subjugating aura

+ A man who follows his calling to seek wisdom would consider no other method of impressing a potential partner with his own knowledge, especially on matters of the heart. He would be drawn to a kindred spirit who values intelligence in the first place, so his crush probably doesn’t mind being an audience to his rants lectures on darkness anyway

+ Brute force is only something he uses as a last resort and he would certainly not consider using such a primitive manner to impress his crush. However, when he sees his crush being harassed by someone, whether it’s a rude passerby or someone who has you trapped in a toxic relationship, he might be tempted to sic the Heartless on them. Just a few. Of the really nasty breed. Ansem may not be the protective type, per se, but he won’t tolerate that kind of behavior towards someone he’s deemed worthy to be his equal

+ After letting her heart be corrupted, what could she possibly have left to impress you with? That will be her mindset when she finds herself developing feelings for somone. She doesn’t try to impress her crush because she no longer believes she has anything worth seeing. The very least that she can do is show you some of the gentleness that defined her former self. She is a bit guilty of that motherly attitude she used to have towards her friends, but instead of endearing, she feels much more… intense. She just wants to keep your light safe since she’s already lost hers

+ If she’s confident that you can take care of yourself in case of an emergency, Aqua might let you come along with her to visit other worlds. She makes sure to leave you somewhere safe while taking care of Seeker business because she selfishly doesn’t want you to see the horrors she’s capable of now. Leaving you alone doesn’t sit well with her–not after spending a decade by herself–so she tries to make up for her time apart from you by stopping to show you the sights she remembers from the last time she was in the Realm of Light. It doesn’t matter if the scenery doesn’t do anything for Aqua now; her attention is already captured by your smile and the way you relax even when she’s near

+ Sometimes her efforts to keep you out of the literal dark turn out to be in vain. Her displays of strength when she’s protecting you from any kind of threat aren’t meant to impress you because she can get downright vicious. She is so used to fighting for her survival, and while that concept has ceased to have any meaning for her, she can fight with the same ferocity when it comes to your safety. Unfortunately for her, that means you might end up seeing how she fights less like the noble warrior she once prided herself on being and more like the demon she is now. At the end of the battle, she never wastes words on excuses or begging you to stay. What you decide to do with your budding relationship is entirely up to you. If that choice is to remain by her side, she just takes your hand in hers with the utmost care and leads you away from the battlefield
