i don't like how a lot of times when ppl bring up that certain other identities shouldn't automatically make you hc a character as ace, they talk about asexuality like it's insulting to call a character that and they ignore that people with those identities who are also asexual do exist as well. it's not inherently bad to hc characters as both you just shouldn't be doing so based on stereotypes.

But then your brother says "I actually think he might be asexual", and being surprised by that, because even if he probably doesn't know what aro is, he does know what ace is! But then getting annoyed when your mum tries to come up with ridiculous explanations for it other than him bring aro/ace

hi! i don't mean this as hate or anything, but could you explain why you still use the demiace/demiaro/etc flag with the large triangle? ive seen people saying that it isn't appropriate to use but i was curious on the reasons you do :0 again, not trying to start anything, im just wondering!

i’ve seen people say the flag’s use of the black triangle is antisemetic. however, i’ve also seen people say that discourse was not started by jewish people or jewish allies, but by exclusionists who were trying to find one more way to call aspecs bigoted. overall, i’ve seen more jewish people say that they don’t think the flag is problematic, that they don’t care about the use of the black triangle, etc, so i’ve opted to keep using the most recognizable flag.

People always act like all Oso have in his mind is sex. I follow you in part because I hope to not see every his interaction with a reader be just him pressuring them to have sex or trying to touch them but other blogs don't even try when it come to him. I am sure this anon will easily find someone else to butcher Oso's characters again.

Also yeah this surely didn't even cross their mind that maybe there is some fans of Oso who are aromantic or/and asexual. Would anyone be ok to see Karamatsu depicted as homophobic for an imagine? But Oso being a bigot is ok somehow.

Oh for sure!! First: I’m glad you follow me w/ those expectations because I’m super happy to fulfill!! I think that all the boys have potential to be really interesting characters. I identify a lot w/ Oso; we have a lot in common!! So a lot of the depth I see in him come from passive traits I see in myself!

It sucks that everyone is so quick to write him off as the weird pervert!!! Oso’s actions come from a place of childishness, a lack of understanding for the consequences of his actions, and a lack of both self-awareness, and the awareness of others. This can manifest in harassment, sure— but it’s also the reason the Calming Detective skits can happen. He’s just got a light-hearted attitude where he just really doesn’t think about things before he does them, which is why someone could both love and hate him.

And can you IMAGINE if someone implied something super problematic about Kara???? The bloodbath.... I mean, people go NUTS for that one!! Which makes sense, like, blue is the best colour. But imagine.
