I love how we see "different versions " of Ivan haunting Till while showing Till coming to terms with his feelings about Ivan and dealing with all the grief and guilt he feels .
The first version is clearly Ivan from round 6 , we see Till dealing with the guilt and grief which was so overwhelming that he couldn't even comprehend what was going on around him . So much so that he had to scratch his neck to the point that it started bleeding because it got "Ivan" to be quiet . Round 6 Ivan represents the survivor's guilt, Till is feeling (much like what mizi was seeing) .
Next we see Kid Ivan , this is when Till started getting used to Ivan's presence and he could do other tasks , like painting and writing, they co-exist together (Ivan is his parasite) , it's not as overwhelming anymore. I think kid Ivan represents the regret Till feels for turning back , when Till and Ivan were running away. I think it's all the what if's that haunt him . If they had ran away that day Ivan would be alive , and maybe just maybe , they would have been able to save other people too .
But when they were talking about Till's drawings and kid Ivan asks why didn't Till show him any , Till first brushes it off , saying he would probably embarrass him , but then he stops and then he looks at Ivan , and then he asks "were you disappointed ?" , a genuine question he probably wouldn't have asked before because he assumed that Ivan wouldn't care , and in that moment we see Normal Ivan , not the guy who tried to save him (both as a kid setting him free and the performer who died for him ) BUT AS THE FRIEND WHO HE ALWAYS HAD BY HIS SIDE , THE DORK HE GREW UP WITH . And for once he isn't a manifestation of his guilt, but just a memory of a friend he lost .
And then Till draws him 😭
