The blues spirit did some things to me ngl. Benders in the series usually control elements as it’s a defining part of them, they spend half of their lives practicing and mostly rely on it. Non-benders instead improve their weapon skills, as they should protect themselves, and fight too. It’s not common to overlap. And then! There is Zuko - the first character who’s shown to do both. I mean, it was so cool of him? To not neglect weapon mastery when you are a bender feels chef kiss? At some point I expect him to do random bullshit go?

I also love to hc that the blue spirit is messing with the fire nation troops a bit because fuck Zhao. Zuko committed a treason and set free the avatar because fuck Zhao it’s not like it’s absolutely impossible And! Eventually he becomes surrounded by legends because he is sudden, calm, silent, a bit theatrical in his mask and his motives are unclear. No one can catch him or reveal his identity. Some people believe he is a real spirit. And on the contrast, Zuko in a daily life is the complete opposite: he is always fucking mad at everything. Ruins things, blasts fireballs. Breaking news! the prince yells again pretend ya’ll surprised it’s the fifth time today. NO ONE can deduce it’s him. The crew takes bets and he is not even on the list.
