i wish -genic labels weren’t such an important thing in the plural community

like yeah our system formed bc of trauma. it maybe also formed because of neurodivergence because being autistic is, imo, inherently traumatizing in modern society

yes we are traumagenic but are we multigenic? autigenic?

…BUT not all of our headmates were created because of trauma. some were just created bc we needed a guy for a job. some were also created on purpose- ex, forming someone’s sourcemates/partners???? and some also just showed up!! for no reason!!!!

are those specific headmates endogenic? willowgenic??? one of our sidesystems calls themselves traumawillow because they like the term, what does that make the other ones??

it’s so odd and complex and i wish the community wasn’t so label oriented :/ like obviously use the labels you like!!! but i wish we could just be plural without people, other plurals even, asking why, yk?

When people tell you your pronouns aren't real and fake. Not understanding the literal years of trying to force myself to fit into binary pronouns only to feel uncomfortable and like a fraud.

My neopronuns are mine. They are who I am. Using them makes being alive slightly more bearable.

I still remember the first time I read a post in my Roblox group of Zay referring to me using xe/xem. I cried tears of joy. The euthoria i felt. That feeling of acceptance is one they makes me feel seen.

For to long had I tried to mold myself to fit others expectations of me. I tried using labels that were popular enough that people might understand... She/her. She/they. They/she. She/he/they. And so on. But that isn't me.

I'm proud to say I'm Fern. And my pronouns are

The intersection of plurality and autism is higher than many folks may think! Lots of systems out there find that they are both plural and autistic (our system included)! Autistic systems deserve to be uplifted, celebrated, and accepted into the plural community as they are with open arms. So here’s to all the autistic systems out there!

♾ Shoutout to autistic systems who have been traumatized by others in their life attempting to treat or cure their autism, ignoring their autism, or refusing to provide proper accommodations and accessibility!

🌈 Shoutout to systems who are questioning whether or not they are autistic or are aiming to one day self-diagnose!

✨ Shoutout to autistic systems who love their neurodiversity and have embraced it as a part of their collective identity!
