Some of you may remember this process piece from forever ago. I finally finished up the painting today after ages of picking at it in my spare time. It feels good to get a full-color painting done.

This creature is called a slitherwing. They are large, avian apex predators with extremely powerful digestive systems that like to swallow their prey whole. I maybe have more info and sketches later.
