I am loving the tree cam, it has the most interesting stuff in my yard currently. Here's a little medley from the last couple of weeks.

Happy Saturday everyone

Things are cooling off today from the last couple of days and we got on and off showers forecast.

I got some backyard critters for you guys this morning, between the bushes is a rabbit. He likes to hide under the bush that is far left in this shot. He was hiding until he was rudely disturbed by the critter in the next shot.

Can you see him? Right next to the bush (left side) is the squirrel from across the street. He saw me standing by the sliding door, and was scampering from bush to bush trying to kinda hide. 🫣 I wish he would stay across the street.

No plans for me this weekend, I wall just take it as it comes. I thought I got pretty good sleep last night but my Fitbit doesn’t agree. 😠

Happy Saturday! Here's Lil Baby Bun in my backyard washing it's face after breakfast to give you a smile. 🫶🏼🩷🫶🏼

I am going to try and befriend the crow that comes to my yard tomorrow. I have peanuts! But it's going to rain all day today so I'm waiting.

We also have at least three cats that party at the porch. One is quite familiar with the back door. Old owners probably fed her. I have not the budget for new food bowls and kibble right now though :(

Curious though. Will the cats leave the crows alone? I know they're trouble for songbirds, but the crows and ravens here are a biiiiit bigger.

Warning: For those who are afraid of snakes

One of luxuries of living in Cali, all of the critters you can find in your own backyard.

Exhibit A:

Found two of these dudes outside yesterday. One of them was hiding in a plant pot. Surprisingly fast for not having any legs.

Don't worry, they're just garter snakes, so they aren't venomous.
