One of my boyfriend's friends pranked him yesterday by telling him that he knocked up his girlfriend and wasn't sure what to do. My boyfriend and I were both shocked by the news and were trying to come up with advice we could give him. Newsflash: these types of pranks are not funny! If a prank will create genuine concern, you shouldn't go through with it. Don't needlessly worry people, okay? 🤷♀️
Okay so I faked this because it was originally in Greek

What Tumblr Does #7
Try to troll people with something that’s really stupid or something “hardcore sjw/blm” and they somehow expect people to get it’s a joke off the bat and are acting like an intellectual when they say shit like “haha you all are dumb triggered conservatives (yeah it’s mostly political), i totally had an amazing prank”
Tumblr or Twitter. You are not saying something so batshit insane that it’s obviously a joke. Shit like what you say has been said before but with actual belief in that statement. You just look like a dime a dozen with what you say. So don’t think you are like an epic master at trolling when people get mad at something that clearly has been happening before. You’re not funny, you’re an asshole.
Don’t Prank People
Or, How Jamie and I died for April Fools.
Yesterday, I recieved a text message calling me a little shit and reminding me that 12 years ago, on April 1st, Jamie and I died. So, I’m going to expound on why you don’t prank people with what happened.
12 years ago, Jamie and I had started dating again (stuff happened, it’s not important) and we had stopped by our friend E’s house. He was adamant that we pull a prank on someone, because Dude, it’s April First! April Fool’s Day! Everyone does it.
I do not do April Fools day. I’m terrible at thinking up pranks and I am one of those people who have an honest-to-gods hard time telling if you’re pulling my leg or not.
However, E persisted. Jamie was all for it, because at this point in our lives he was still kind of used to everyone coming up to us going “Hey Manders!” and us being “seen about town” (imagine...Mall Rats with a mix of “all the goth kids hang out at this place because there’s metal shows on Saturday Nights” with a dash of “Don’t you hang out at the skate park?” and you have us, our friends, etc).
Finally, I said alright and someone (E or Jamie) brought up the brilliant plan to text MJ (she and I were Not Speaking at the time) and say that Jamie and I had gotten into a really bad car wreck. We agreed on telling her because a) she was pretty gullible at the time and 2) we couldn’t think of anyone else to fuck with.
Ten minutes later, E calls MJ and says that one of us died and the other might die. She freaks the fuck out and I realize that she is the same loudmouth she was in high school and we have to do damage control. She knows all the people we know, so Jamie and I are texting everyone we can think of with “not dead, just a prank on MJ. we’re ok, we swear. don’t tell her. we’re going to tell her in 10 minutes.”
E tells her he has to hang up because he’s got to talk to Jamie’s mom. She hangs up and we’re all looking at each other like omg, what did we do. And E calls MJ back because we all feel terrible and MJ is having a panic attack. I’m on the phone with my mom, who finds the humor in it but also agrees that we fucked up. Jamie’s on the phone with a buddy of ours and MJ is screaming into the phone at E, demanding to talk with one of us because she doesn’t believe him. I talked her down, she threatened to beat my ass, and we’re ok now (as a matter of fact, I sent her a photo of the Easter Beaver last night, she responded with a photo of Tie-Dye Lambs)
But no, seriously.
Be careful with your pranks. Don’t emotionally fuck with people. If you feel the desire to prank people, do the pudding-in-a-mayo-jar thing, do the toothpaste-in-oreos thing, or even make chocolate-dipped onions. Or, go with a classic and put cellophane on the toilet seat.
Don’t fuck with people’s heads. Don’t get someone to tell others you died (or were maimed, etc), don’t pull the “I’m Pregnant!” thing. Saying “I got a snake!” or “I got a rat!” is good enough.
We did this 12 years ago, and it’s still awful. Don’t do this.
