The sounds of running water fills your ears like the breeze on a winter night, like petals flowing in Wind on a hot day of spring.Your body relaxed and warm Like a euphoria spreading throughout your entire body.

Until..the sound of your Timer Goes off, Sighing you pull yourself up from the soapy waters of your Bath water drippling onto your bath mat wrapping your towel against your body you head into the kitchen taking your boiling kettle of the hob placing it onto the holster.

Taking the bento box from the fridge glancing at the note that sat ontop of it you rip it off. It's a note from your mom notify you to remember to take your lunch aswell as apologizing for not being able to see you in morning as she usually would able to.

Taking the bento you stuff into your bag while sipping your matcha tea ,sitting u take a glance at the time approximately minutes until you need to arrive at school,  sliding your phone across the table gripping the edge of your towel you head into your room to get dressed.

The entrance of the school Booming with students spread across the Field and near the main building. walking through the Gate with 10 minutes to go you turn off the timer and shoving the phone into the pockets of your jacket.looking around you don't see the familiar faces On-jo or Cheong-san.

Shrugging you Continue walking towards the school opting that you'll be able to see them on class, sliding the door open of Class 2-5 stepping in you see the faces of Na-yeon and I-sak, low waving at them when as you enter they wave back seeing Nam-ra you also greet her but she seems uninterested.

Placing your bag on the hook of your desk you sit gazing out the window at the sky completely obviously of the chaos that would ensue forcing Bonds to be broke, and New ones to branch. The room fills with a louder volume of chatter as more and more people begin to arrive, but is quickly hushed as Ms. Park enters the room turning to face the front as she walks up starting class.

You attempt to concentrate but you can't you look at the person sitting 2 seats away Hee-su her face pale as scrunches in pain, she raises her wobbly hand asking to leave to go to the bathroom slowly scrabbling off and through the door.

Hmm.

Ms Park askes Nam-ra to share her opinion on prejudice, presenting that everyone has preconceived ideas about someone when they first meet. And While she is talking Su-hyeok isn't paying one bit of attention seeing Ms.Park take one good glance She calls out him.

"Next, Bare-su. Stand up." You almost giggle childishly at the name but you cover your face. While others laugh shamelessly do, But you can't be bothered to listen any longer.

Your sleepy mind is distracted..again..as you focus on the outside, distracted you jump hearing the door slowly grind open, looking towards the front door you see Hyeon-ju stumble into bloody and bleeding.

Quickly getting on your feet you and the rest of the class walk up to her helping break her fall. Sitting next to her you feel her head quite cold the blood cowagulated you freeze up.

"Ms.park.." She mumbles out voice grasping on words. "Yes its me, you recognize me"

"He..He grabbed..Me"

"Who, Hyeon who.." You ask grabbing her hand to keep her awake feeling her body start grow heavier as she mumbles. "The science teacher..grabbed  me and locked me up" Everyone gasps in shock, and Na-yeon admits she was right about him.

"The science teacher? Mr Lee Byeong-chan, huh?"

Gasps and talks start around the classroom and she reveals more and more, you touch her head its becoming colder.."Ms.Park i think we should take her to the infirmary now.."

"Yes..Let's get you to the infirmary." Ms.Park tells Nam-ra to watch and supervise over the class, as well telling no one to say word until she comes back with the facts.

She starts helping Hyeon-ju up, and you grab her back giving her a more stable way to get up she leans on you as you help her on Su-hyeok back On-jo and I-Sak help prop her up and we all rush out of the classroom.

We hear the sound of Ms.Park telling everyone to go back and remain seated as we hurry to the infirmary,Ms.park comes soon after helping keep her stable on his back.

People gasp in shock as we run past their classrooms, finally reaching the infirmary i open the door so Su-hyeok can quickly get through. You see Hee-su and hold her hand asking if she's okay as the nurse rushes to help Hyeon-ju instead.

You see that she needs to leave school and help her out of the classroom, telling her to stay safe and get better soon and she leaves.

When you return back Hyeon-ju is becoming restless her eyes beet-red, you help cover her but slowly back away hearing that.

"The science teacher gave Me a weird shot."

She mumbles before becoming rapidly aggressive attempting to bite On-jo leaving a nasty scratch on her hand.You help her away holding her hand sitting her down so that she can get treated after Hyeon-ju.

"Does it hurt On-jo.?"

"Just a bit"

You rub her hand waiting for them,the nurse calls the ambulance after she is sedated, and we follow them downstairs to the entrance of the school building to see her off.

After She's put into the ambulance you return back into the classroom, I-Sak and the rest crowd you asking questions. "Is On-jo okay?" Replying with a quick sentence.

"Yeah, her father also came to help patch her up she's okay."

"How is Hyeon-ju"

Na-yeon asks."She was really really aggressive but when she got sedated she slowed down..she was dangerous..cold..her body felt like a freezer".Before You can continue you see On-jo, Cheong-san and Su-hyeok return, and soon after class ends And lunch starts.

And the confusingly antagonizing boy bot. And the rebel, again.

Does this [sewage] not know how to do his job at all? He does everything bad on purpose. Rage bait as the kids say it nowadays? Or does he REALLY just want to see you mad. You try not to fall for it. After they left, you had someone even better than a worker, a *PATHETIC* bot-brain. What a beauty. You don't want to put her under the pressure if working, (but she doesn't want to be like a slop. All she does at home is recieve and give affection. Where is her life taking place anymore???).

Anyway, You mentally sighed, and let her be like your secretary. You're type is way too diverse. That's one reason for way you like her (and some that accidentally feel into your lovely bubble that resembled your handsome grey face).

Oh you were pathetic enough to warn her about your needs and wants, like a good partner does. She said it's okay to find interest in another. As long as you don't try to marry them or some [stick]. You were at least loyal enough that for your offering of the deal, you stay with her. No matter how many you found interesting, she is a permenant one you cannot replace. If she ever got toxic, which is probably impossible, you were SO rusted.

She usually agrees with you, but is not scared to judge or disagree occasionally when it comes to opinion. You somewhat like that way of thought. So wise. No fear for criticism. Haha. She's strong, you suppose and see yourself.

She dealt with some of the annoying or dependant employees not dependant on you. A lot are gone, but you don't take the blame. You can't control time.

Well, in general, even after everyone woke up again, it's so quiet. So boring. Where is all the fun. Somehow. It's never fun until someone else offers company. You figured out you could hum like your creator to calm down and keep your [Shig] together. After all, nobody will stop you from whatever you will do next. What will you do? You don't know yet. You hummed a familiar tune as you went back to that place you keep yourself captive. Like a bedroom. Eh. By the end of your day, you go....

Close your eyes, another time of hope. Maybe he will stop by your work place, or whatever. Hopefully. You need him back, but you think you might survive more time of responsibility. Welp. Cheers to another break.

REFLEXES

Chapter 1: January's Twitch

IMP’s schedule is busier than ever and it’s great! There’s a bit more money coming in, they are getting more clients and Stolas is actually being a good help with paperwork and bureaucracy.

But…when Stolas isn’t focused on a paper his depression takes over, he walks like an empty shell, lost Lucifer knows where inside of his mind.

He stares… hours at a wall, sometimes he sleeps too much and others too little. Every night close to midnight he goes to the balcony to gaze at the stars as if he was looking for something.

Blitzo sometimes joins for a bit but mostly he leaves Stolas to his space although he watches him without the other noticing.

That was a weird sensation, a totally different being like he perceived in the past was in front of him.

Blitzo didn’t know what to do exactly but he knew he could make the other smile a bit at least so today he was going to try to get a bit more closer….the irony ..in the past was he who ran away and sheltered himself so much…

“Stols?” he opened the door to the balcony and he eyed the former prince smoking looking at the sky.

“Blitz..” he turned to face the imp giving him a half smile, with effort but truthful

“What’s up up there?” he crawled skillfully up to the rail and sat besides Stolas pointing to the sky .

“Well …Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune…aligning, a rather rare event… Orion's Belt..and billions of stars…” he blinked slowly and reached his pocket for a cigarette.

“Wooww….Really? I can't see shit.?!?.” he blinked a couple of times to the sky and next to Stolas.

The owl gave out a little sad chuckle “Neither do I…..” he sighed as he exhaled the smoke “But from Earth realm on a clear night sky you can spot them.”

They both fell into silence for a couple of minutes, Blitzo didn’t go further on the subject …clearly without his powers and the Grimoire Stolas wasn’t able to see.

“Well Stolas I must say that your idea to sign a contract with some money paid ahead for each job was pretty handy today, this guy went on about ending four guys…turned out to be eight…”

“It’s the least I can do..” Stolas cut Blitzo in the middle of the sentence. he looked at the imp “You took me in, took care of me and..saved my life..” he lent the cigarette to Blitzo for a puff, “I’m more than glad I still have my knowledge to be able to help in any way.”

Blitzo looked at the burning tip of the cigarette and puffed twice reaching to Stolas after, he blew the smoke more like a long sigh.

“Ya know..I have to tell you this..I..I’m sorry…I didn’t know…” he sighed “ I mean, it’s bothering me, I really didn’t know you had no clue about the first attempt on your life…” Blitzo started to mumble, this issue, every time that pops into his mind really bothers him and hurts him and probably was out of the blue and he didn’t know if Stolas was ready to hear it but he couldn't live much more with that apology stuck in his throat.

Stolas was a bit taken aback with the sudden apology, he smashed the cigarette on the rail and tensed a bit and shook his head.

“it’s okay Blitz….to be honest it’s quite likely that Stella bragged about it and I didn’t listen..” he looked down with a pity smile.

Blitzo leaned a bit, peeking at Stolas’s face trying to make himself a support, to look into the owl’s eyes, they were slightly more open but vague as if he was in another place.

“So much screaming ..” … “Via often just listened to music…I learned to dissociate …spite and anger was so ..normal…I got used to it. I heard the screams and scorn but didn’t listen.”

Blitzo nodded, his eyes showing sadness and understanding …he lifted his hand to reach for Stolas’s shoulder…to his surprise the other flinched and took a step back like a learned reflex.

Blitzo frowned.

Stolas came back to reality.

“I apologize..” Stolas said instantly as he realized his behavior.

Blitzo was no stranger to trauma and he knew right away what this physical response was. To be fair Blitzo has noticed how far away Stolas goes when there’s too much noise or people screaming around, he has also noticed how sometimes the bird gets over worried with Millie and Moxxie antics and how many times he flinches and twitches to sudden movements.

Stolas rubbed his arm “I guess all these changes and the lack of my …supplements..altogether is making me a bit ..fidgety..”.

Blitzo nodded slowly..”Stolas it’s okay..it’s fine..did she?...” he sighed and respected the other space.

Stolas tensed “Well…it’s what a cheating husband deserves I suppose..” Now he started to scratch his arm.

“C’mon birdie no one deserves to be …you know…treated that way.”

Aaah…Blitzo’s heart sank. There was a mixture of feelings bubbling inside his chest, his own share of being abused …he really understood that feeling.

“Was..did she do it before we….” Blitzo dared, one might think he was being selfish but even though Stolas clearly stated and reassured Blitzo had no responsibility of it…still deep inside he felt some guilt.

Stolas looked to the side…the imp had already seen him stripped of everything and in an absolute low…and Stolas trusted him…it was safe.

Stolas nodded. There was much more..the verbal abuse, the humiliations in public…alcohol and medication kept him numb but his scars were carved very deeply.

“Blitz?” actually Stolas was the one to close the gap between them walking a couple of steps to the imp.

“I appreciate all this..so much but you needn’t worry about such dark details, I’ll be fine Blitz.” Stolas gave the imp a half smile trying to reassure himself and the other.

 

“Actually is way more selfish than that.” Blitzo chuckled and reached his hand. Stolas blinked and tilted his head to the side but reached to Blitzo’s hand and their fingers intertwined.

“I want to know.” Blitzo shrugged “...when you’re ready of course.” he smiled at the goetia.

Stolas’s teared up a bit and couldn’t but smile at Blitzo’s kindness.

They went inside the apartment hand in hand and sat on the couch like that. Some minutes went by ..in silence but it was comfortable, it was warm, like those hands holding each other held all the communication that was needed for now, trust and support.

In the process of 3rd grade me crying bcuz my drawing looks like shit and no matter what I do, nothing seems to make it better, but I keep on drawing and drawing until I got better. Accept, this time, I'm a teenager crying bcuz nothing I write sounds good but I keep doing it bcuz if third grade me was able to sit down and cry over how bad everything I drew looked and wrote hateful letters to myself to discourage myself from drawing, but everyday I woke up, and everyday I still made drawings, than I can write a god damn comic/poem 🫡
