There's been a lot of changes in my life over the past decade. There's been a divorce. Many, many...many...years as a single mom. A new adult daughter. A tween son. I became an international traveler - to several places. I've gotten rid of right at 80 pounds. New vehicle, new glasses, new pets, new place, new friends (along with keeping many of the old). New outlook. New mindset. Tons and tons of personal growth. The shedding of a lot of baggage that was holding me down and back and keeping me from becoming better. I've found my voice, my worth, my self esteem and my Tribe. While the last decade has been almost nothing but completely necessary and sometimes painful change, I'm looking to the next decade being full of new experiences, new people, new places, lots of fun and laughter and being the very best version of myself that I possibly can. It's not New Year New Me, it's New Year Better Me. If I'm the same person I was a year ago, and especially a decade ago, and nothing about me or my life has changed for the better, then that's a very sad place to be. I refuse to be that person.
