fuck it, MORE BERDLY HEADCANONS!!! see my previous post for context on wtf is happening and who these extra bluebirds are if ur curious

1. Berdly is really the only motherly/fatherly figure his siblings have since their parents are constantly out on buisness trips nd stuff, so Benji sometimes calls Berdly "mom" or "dad" which i think is cute

2. Berdly is honestly kind of embarrassed of his siblings so he therefore has never told anyone about this. Kris was the first to find out since Toriel was talking about Benji (who cannot do online school since hes so young and is in Toriel's class). Kris was like "whaaaat wdym Benji whos Benji" and Toriel was like "Berdlys sibling, did he never mention them?" and Kris told Susie who told Noelle and so on....

3. Brandon is constantly pulling pranks on Berdly, sometimes getting his siblings to collab with him and jumping Berdly out of nowhere. but occasionally Berdly's sibling will see him passed out on the couch after a busy day of taking care of them, going to school, studying, and working his shift at the library & mutually agree to not bother him the next day.

4. Berdly, being the guy he is, follows a very tight schedule and assigns each of his brothers chores everyday. Brandon usually finds an excuse to skip or just wont do them, Bernie always does his last minute, and Benji's only chore is to clean up after hes done playing with whatever toys hes using.

5. Whenever Berdly's parents rarely come home, he usually locks himself up in his room while is brothers go annoy their parent's. Berdly doesnt like talking to them for the sole reason of dreading more responsiblilites they might put onto him once he inevitably leave once again.

6. Berdly stays late after school everyday for two reasons. A, because hes a stuck up and cleans the classroom for Alphys. B, because he doesnt want anyone else to see him picking up Benji at the end of the day. Berdly always lets Benji help him clean up the classroom. :)

7. One time Brandon walked in on Berdly and Kris hanging out in his room (they werent even doing anything weird, just cuddling or whatever couples do) and Brandon literally started screaming his head off like a maniac. What happened next? Brandon was grounded for a whole month.

8. Berdly has to occasionally tackle Brandon and preen his feathers for him. Berdly is a huge cleanfreak and cant STAND looking at all those keratin shells sticking out of Brandon's feathers

I don't normally post about berdly but I have a headcanon about him where he really likes writing his own stories and making his own ocs and stuff and so after he went to the dark world he thought he had this absolutely insane dream so he went and converted a few of the dark world residents into ocs from what he could remember about them

this includes ralsei, queen, the werewires and even taking inspiration from how he remembers kris, susie and noelle from in the dark world

i love to imagine his reaction to finding out his 'ocs' are living beings

Deltarune Headcanons

welcome to maybe the stupidest post im ever going to write. It's 3 am right now and I can't go to sleep so why not write my HC's of my favorite characters 😁

I feel like deltarune takes place in mid October/early November, mainly because it's clearly autumn in hometown and I just like those months okay 😭

Birthdays & Age

Starting off, I believe they're all freshmen. Don't ask why, I don't know myself.

Kris: September 1st, 15 years old. Only set day I have

Susie: July, 16 years old. Definitelyyy a summer baby. Both her and Kris never knew what grade they were SUPPOSED to be in because they were always a year older or younger than everyone else, but Susie was held back a year anyway so what's the point.

Noelle: January, 14 years old. I don't feel like she would be born in December ngl, but still born in a winter month?

Berdly: April, 14 years old. I'm so set on this one.

Ralsei: No TRUE birth month, Susie and Kris created a birthday for him though and it's November 14th. 14 years old

Lived in a town that was mostly humans before she moved here

ADHD, used to be medicated when her mom was alive, but not only are they now unable to afford it, but also she just kinda hated taking them?? Because they made her an entirely different person when she did

• Gets really fluffy in the winter, plus really sleepy. Probably managed to get a doctors note to let him sleep sometimes in class, although he doesn't use it... at all

• like I said before, he's emancipated meaning he's living without his parents. Or at the very least, his parents are emotionally neglectful

• He tries to listen to metal music because he "likes' Susie but can't stand it

• Dude might be aromantic in some way

• Unironicly listens to Clairo and "girly" music. He is very ashamed of it

• not very good at video games, but he does love playing them!

• Has an action figure collection

• 5'2"

• would probably find some way to dye his feathers! Although it'd probably be like streaks. He's not allowed to tho

i mention this is pretty much everything i write about him, but i hold the firm belief that he'll defend you to the ends of the earth.

berdly defending you would likely be him arguing with someone and refusing to give up until the person harassing you just got too annoyed and left.

he's your knight in glow-in-the-dark armour forever <3

berdly will help you get any accommodations that you need at school for sure-- he's definitely not afraid to talk to the staff.

you guys could spend hours infodumping to each other about special interests.

especially dragon blazers, if you enjoy the series too. there would be discussions until 3am about theories the two of you have and lore that no one else cares about.

he always keeps a few stim toys in his backpack because they help him stay focused during class, and he's happy to share with you.

he would probably gift one to you at some point

i feel like it would be this one. fun fidget toy and also looks like a game controller? it's perfect!!

if you are non-verbal or semi-verbal, berdly would try to be your voice and make sure your opinions are heard-- "they asked for no pickles" but to the extreme.

be careful, though. he might get a little over-excited and end up drowning you out completely. he's trying his best.

the two of you would also enjoy parallel play and support swapping-- doing different things but still doing them together, and helping each other

I technically have like 4 requests but I have Berdly brainrot so whatever. There's like, no content for this little shit, so here I go! These are some HCs, sorta-ish, which will fluctuate between 3rd and 2nd person. Woo! Ignoring the guilt of having my Cookie Run PV HCs blow up only to write for Berdly let's goo!

• Alright, let's make the very first thing extremely clear:

• If Berdly has an S/O, they have to be pretty patient in some capacity. Have you seen that man? There's different ways I can see a patient S/O working, either they're equally as passionate as Berdly, sorta like a hypeman, or maybe they're more on the listener side. Incredibly dumb or incredibly smart- there's so many ways this could go.

• The forbidden route is to have his S/O and him be a rivals to lovers situation, where his S/O loathed him prior to their relationship, but showed a moment of kindness like Susie, maybe because while they despised him, they weren't an asshole. Obviously, Berdly is... a total dweeb, and he pulls the whole tsundere bullshit. Would be a bit funny though.

• Whatever the case, whether you're the most kind and blessed soul, or you want to strangle Berdly affectionately, you end up in a relationship. Somehow. No one knows how, and it probably took more effort on your part depending on when you became close to Berdly. In the case you were the one to reassure him he didn't need to be smart?

• LITERALLY SO EXTRA ABOUT EVERYTHING. We saw how he was with Susie after she said he didn't have to be a smartass. Imagine that, but maybe his S/O is a little less harsh. Either way, Berdly is going to try to be subtle, but likely fail miserably and very obviously be infatuated, like, everyone knows it type deal.

• I DO HAVE IDEAS FOR A STORY BASED ON THINGS FOR CHAP 2 WITH BERDLY AND ON S/O BUT I'M NOT THERE YET.

• I also kinda really super like the idea of Berdly meeting a Darkner and basically crushing on them hard during the whole Ch. 2 ordeal because the idea of him meeting like, one of the Queen's underlings and having brainrot for them is probably a fanfic idea waiting to happen.

• Can you imagine the tragedy though?? Since he can't really stay in the Dark World forever (even though he totally wants to and would) he has to say bye for at least a couple hours depending on if he returns every day.

• Overall v obsessed with the concept of Berdly's S/O being either some sweetheart or generally normal and chill person where everyone questions how he landed them of all people or some equally haughty and bastard person.

i headcanon that he has some sort of genderfuckery going on himself, so y'know

he'll use masculine terms for you.. almost aggressively? like, "Look at my boyfriend! The super cool masculine dudeguy!"

berdly will most certainly buy a shirt that says "Trans Ally" on it, in really big letters of course. he'll also buy a trans flag for you

after you come out to him, he'll stay up all night doing research

the next time you see him, he excitedly lets you know about all of the information he gathered on various trans things- hormones, puberty blockers, binding, surgeries, dysphoria, different identities, et cetera

if and when you start to consider things like hormones and surgery, he'll support you every step of the way

also, he signed like. 50 or so trans rights petitions he found online

if you have a new name, berdly will help you acquire and fill out the paperwork to change your name on your student record and librarby card

if you decide to bind, he will help you pick the best binder possible going off of prices, reviews, sizes and such

he'll remind you to only wear your binder for eight hours maximum each day, and take at least a day each week to not wear the binder

he'll also remind you to stretch out your ribcage and chest area often

if your parents are less than accepting, berdly will write a 10 page minimum essay to call them out on their bullshit

berdly will definitely point out any characters from games he plays with transmasc characters

whether it be canon- "I heard of this game called Tell Me Why a few months ago, one of the main characters is a trans man, just like you! Are you interested in playing it?"

or headcanon- "There's this game I played a little over a year ago called Bugsnax, I think you might like it. One of the characters, Chandlo, is headcanoned as trans by a good portion of the fanbase. I just bought the DLC, do you want to watch me play?"

if you plan on getting a haircut, berdly will look at different styles with you. and if you don't want a haircut, whether it's because your hair is already short or you like your hair long, he thinks it's cool
