Gabriel is not a victim, he's an aggravator .

Regardless of what caused him to be that way, nothing cleanses the hate he puts into the world, nothing cleanses the lack of punishment for doing so and nothing cleanses that he'd enjoy it if he was punished, making any notion of the word mean very little. He has no reason to be an aggravator; his story is never revealed dramatically in front of the main characters and it isn't revealed to him either. He can't remember the last time he was Gabriel Montez instead of Emizel’s shitty sire. Instead of Viv and Vex’s new toy.

It only makes sense Gabriel dies by his childe’s hands. He’s an aggravator. The eternity he put onto him comes back to bite him and he can’t find any reason why it shouldn’t or any reason that he should be unhappy over it. He takes and takes, feeds bottomlessly. Nothing could satiate the hole his doctors injected into him, wired in his neurons. He accepts that it will remain unsatiated when the concept of eternity becomes real. In the lack of blood coursing and the shallowness of his chest, eternity is fact instead of the make-believe punk he is. Gabriel was a good kid who listened to instructions and did everything he was told. The only difference now is that he’s ordered to be messy, to consider no one but himself and his Gods, the rightful creators Viv and Vex were. His parents told him to do that too discreetly, saying “I don’t care what you do with your life as long as you have a roof over your head,” instead of “Wipe out all of your opposing squad and bring their bodies back to our’s. You will have proved yourself worthy of our attention then.” Gabriel can’t remember anything else his parents said. What got him hurting others was irrelevant. Gabriel knew the people he surrounded himself with and associated himself with were people who wanted him to hurt them.

Does it hurt less knowing that Gabriel agreed? That Gabriel wanted to be a monster to have an excuse to be a monster and that he got exactly what he wanted? He wanted to be hurt and he knew the people who were hurting him needed to hurt him. His Gods would never do anything they didn’t need to. In fact, they would prove their mortality right in front of him if they needed to make their point in fact his mention of their godliness of their eternity should be punished with such a haste with vigor and intensity How dare Gabriel praise his Lords how dare Gabriel believe in God or in any guidance in his horrendously putrid life. Gabriel is and always will be a follower to them, to anyone that grazes a glance for longer than a second because Gabriel will never matter outside of that gaze, he is nothing without it.

The only time anyone had ever looked at Gabriel when he was scared was when Viv and Vex turned him into the unapologetically ruthless, disgusting beast that they needed. Gabriel is not a victim, he is an aggravator.

Btw im not gonna post abt the sw!cdotkom thing anymore im just gonna enjoy my sw!cdotkom and shorts wars stuff without fanning the flame of this bc its just really negative and its the only topic alive in the sw fandom currently and id rather not have the only thing keeping the fandom alive being negativity so im gonna avoid it!!

Btw that post of mine wasnt me trying to defend his character mistakes, because there are plenty of them, it was a response on how it was over-exagerated on how horrible his character was and there are a few other things I want to point out, but I think its just best if I let it go bc it clearly got to my head more than it should've 🥹. (Curse you hyperfixations for making me way too attached to a silly white boy)
