Bunch of design sketches for my upcoming short film. I'm thinking of rewriting it to have Red be the sole main character, so digital sketches of her redesign will be soon to follow. I'm also thinking of renaming the film from Red|Blue to Memento Mori, but I think I might only be considering that name due to the Will Wood song...

Icy winds blow, carrying unheard prayers for mercy from the cold. Only the blue reaper may take your soul. May she be kind with it...

First time drawing an Unggoy! Ended up sketching over a 3D model, and positioning the bits like doll arms when I sketched. Hope this looks okay.

The blue reaper was an Unggoy in the fnaftale universe, that was a decent adventurer. Sadly, she ended up dying in battle against an ice demon lord. But the gods saw her Valor in fighting the beast alone, and made her into the Blue Reaper. To be a cold killer to the cruel, and a kind face in the face of unforgiving cold.

The Blue Reaper, also known as the Dark Phoenix, based on a picture my friend sent me of a real dragon bird with the colors changed up a little and some variations from the original design.

Here’s the real thing!

They only eat bones and the red coloring is actually not their natural coloration, I think it’s from surrounding clay or something? I’m not really knowledgeable about the bird itself, I just thought it looked dope and credit was due for the inspiration it gave, feel free to research and share what you know/learn about the real guy!

Rough draft of an informational poster for my upcoming thesis film, Red|Blue (2026). In the spring semester, there will be an event where each major presents posters of their research, so I'll be refining this before then.
