I know I am not the only one who dislikes Bonnie's canon relationships, and I wanted to make a space for us that see her as more than what she was given.
Our girl is just as desirable and deserving of a romance as the rest. It's unfair how she's the only one boxed in due to moral policing.
what do you think of Bonnie x Marcel? It’s definitely a lesser shipped ship lol, but I feel like it would’ve been interesting if explored. I just wouldn’t want Plec to write it though, that would be hell.
Bonnie would have to kick his ass for his random witch murdering in NOLA but I could see the relationship working out. They’ve both been cast aside and ignored by family/friends so why not. Both are loyal people in general. Well, unfortunately can relate to dating your “relative” sjsgszj. 😭✋🏽sorry the joke was right there?!
If Cami the “good” loving human can sleep with murderous vampires I see no reason why Bonnie can’t. In fact, no one ever has a good reason as for why Bonnie can’t date these villains. Now, not every ship is going to be someone tastes but in general when people are saying no to one non-canon pairing they mean all of them. But, they never say no to their fave white women lol.
lol, fuck Julie. Her definition of romance for Bonnie was Enzo someone who didn’t show interest in her into her initially, Ben who claimed he wasn’t into her, Luka here for a minute and gone the next… then there’s Jeremy. Can’t forget the step-brother lol.

It’s funny how a lot of TVD Stans all of a sudden lose the ability to envision anything outside of canon when it comes to Bonnie and her only. All these fantasies, hypotheticals and what if’s can be thrown around for other characters but God for bid it’s Bonnie. Now it’s either Bonnie Stan’s are doing too much, we’re trying to make her the main character and give her too much attention/spotlight or we’re being delusional giving her storylines that make her ooc even tho the entire show was hella inconsistent in how characters were written.
It’s not our fault y’all choose to only see her for what was given in the show and nothing more. Take that close minded energy elsewhere.
Bonnie Bennett in The Originals ‘verse (2/?)
Just like the rest of the French Quarter, this place is loud and excessive. She turns her nose up as she steps inside, hoping to make this quick. She is on a scouting mission --- getting her first look at the enemy.
The witches have prepared her, spinning a tail of a monster. A true product of his sire (and she understands what that means all too well).
What she finds in that cramped bar...is not the picture she has in her head.
Marcel Gerard belts out a song, his raspy voice slightly off key. His frame slides to the beat, hips rolling as he gives it his all. The crowd around her raise their drinks and cheer. She doesn’t know what to think.
Then his eyes find her, the only body not swaying in a sea of people.
Marcel leans forward, his voice changing, taking on a more sultry tone. He is singing to her and only her. She wonders if he knows who she is. She wonders if he knows why she is there. She almost hopes so because she wants to wipe that smarmy look off his face in the end.
When the song is over, she claps appreciatively as he continues to stare her down.
Oh, how she is going to enjoy this.
