"It's hard to miss the way you look at her," he says, lowering his voice.
"Like I want to kill her?" I retort, spotting an interesting match in Claw Section.

Slaine in Onyx Storm chapter 28:
Dain's tone sharpens. "I don't coddle first-years anymore, so train. Your. Signet."
"Asshole," she whispers, and the flush in her cheeks deepens.
I lift my brows at the look she shoots him, mostly because I can't tell if she wants to stab him in his seat or—"Fuck," Garrick mutters—

why the fuck did it never occur to me this entire time, pre Wymack finding out Kevin is his son, that Wymack was constantly thinking about the fact that Kevin wasn't his son but he wanted to protect him like he was anyway.
having read those new bonus chapters, nora just gave us a delightful look into the psyches of at least five characters in a way we've never seen before (Betsy, Wymack, and Aaron, ofc, but also Andrew and Kevin). what are you hiding, Wymack? what are those flashbacks about? Kevin was conceived on an exy court??? Aaron and bee are both calculating assholes and i love it. Kevin's alcoholism and relationship with Andrew??? and speaking of andrew, Wymack clocking his sexuality immediately??? Nora you're incredible, tysm

Azriel tilted his head, the corner of his lips lifting in that way that always made her heart stutter. “Yes, as you know,” he answered, a somewhat amused look on his face now.
Elain huffed, finding it difficult to express herself. Azriel just watched her patiently. “And…and were you typically…” her face was positively aflame now. She swallowed as he watched her struggle. “Were you typically…providing, or receiving?”
Azriel’s lips twitched. “Providing or receiving what, Elain?”
Elain sent him a flat, annoyed look. “Were you fucking males, Azriel, or were you being fucked?”
Azriel’s grin grew wider. He bent down to breathe his answer into her ear, shadows caressing her cheek, causing a shiver of anticipation to descend her spine.
“Both, angel,” he whispered. Heat curled through Elain’s core. She swallowed once more.
Okay I know I said the bonus chapter after Teddy’s would be Albus and Scorpius, then gave y'all Lou's instead, as I am a liar 👏🏻 but next is Albus and Scorpius, I promise!
Teddy’s bonus will be multichapter, as you all probably know already, so every other bonus will be sprinkled in between that! I don't think Teddy’s bonus will be more than two or three parts, but aside from those there will be the Albus POV and Roxy POV (with imamu). And possibly more! Haven't decided yet. I'm kind of just following the vibes here.
