Bothans were a species of mammalians from Bothawui. Exceptionally intelligent and observant, Bothan features combined aspects of feline, equine, and canine animals. Bothans were known throughout the galaxy as politicians and spies, fields they often excelled in.

Long story short: Ahuska was kidnapped and was being used as a political pawn on Bothawui and she’s finally getting rescued and well. Her rescuers aren’t exactly the best sort of people but she certainly doesn’t care. Many Bothans... lived up to their species’ reputation.

Bothawui was a temperate planet home to the Bothan species. A verdant world in the Mid Rim, Bothawui was a major hub in galactic information trade, due to its people’s aptitude for spycraft. Although developed, mountainous geography left much of the wilderness of the planet unexplored.
