Tim and Danny have been on a few dates at this point. Or at least, Tim would like to think they were dates. He really really likes Danny, and is hoping he's not misreading the signals that tell him Danny feels the same, so he's going to ask Danny if they can be official. A label. Boyfriends.
He was thrilled to see the joy on Danny's face after he asked the question. He wasn't as thrilled to see the hesitation.
"I would love to be your boyfriend Tim, but..." Danny let out a deep sigh, "You see, I have an older brother and he's like, crazy protective of me. If you want to be boyfriends you have to meet him first." Danny was worried, and he made it known in the days leading up to Dante's visit. The man had only ever approved of 2 relationships and even then his partners had to work for it.
They had arranged to meet up with him at a café to do introductions over coffee. Tim tried his best not to be intimidated when Dante entered, sat himself across the table silently, and just stared Tim down. He didn't even dare to breathe until Dante nodded and sat back, finally taking his eyes off Tim and turning his attention to his little brother.

Danny/Tim, Key, "I'm over it, so over it, just the ... Touch of your lips?"
This was…
Frankly, this was the last thing that Tim expected.
Or wanted.
But there Phantom was, in all his monochromatic glory. More monochromatic glory? Phantom certainly seemed paler: his skin less a contrast against his white hair, his lips a deathly blue, the glow of his eyes brighter against his skin. It was worrying.
Not that Tim cared.
Phantom and him weren’t—
They couldn’t—
“And here’s part of our technical team,” Black Canary said with a gesture that introduced Tim’s arrival. “This is Red Robin. He’ll be working with part of his home team called Oracle.”
Phantom looked up from his conversation with Constantine so quickly that it had to hurt. Or maybe it didn’t, not to a ghost. Phantom was floating after all, as he tended to. His hair drifted in a current none of them felt, the only part of him that moved as he stared frozen at Tim.
After a long, awkward moment, Tim finally said, “We’ve met.”
Phantom cleared his throat. The halo of minuscule objects, or lights maybe, that orbited Phantom’s head started to move again. It was the first that Tim had noticed them, (too focused on Phantom’s face). The sparks darted in and out of Phatom’s hair, but seemed to move consistently. They almost formed a circlet of light.
“Ah, Young Justice and I worked a case together, last year,” Phantom managed to say.
Had it already been a year?
(Had it only been a year?)
“Great!” Constantine said with a clap of his hands. “Then let’s get to it, yeah? Got shit to do after this.”
“Constantine,” Wonder Woman sighed.
“What? I do! I’m a busy man!”
Their banter was just background noise to how loud Tim’s heart suddenly sounded. Phantom had all of Tim’s attention. This was the last thing that Tim had expected, but God did he want it.
Ok, first off, if you aren't a fan of dpxdc crossover fics then you can keep scrolling. For everyone who's still here, enjoy this fantastic wip where danny isn't just a weedy little emo engineer running circles around the batfam; he's also instigating the most UST-filled cat & mouse game with tim ever!
Tim: dad, everyone, I want you to meet Danny my boyfriend
Danny: hi sir! Nice to meet you! I promise to treat your son really good and rip apart anything or anyone ever trying to harm him before obliterating them, their family and everything they know and love *flash the biggest brightest smile with too many sharp teeth*
Bruce:....
The bat kids in the room:...
Duke: *turning to Tim putting a firm hand on his shoulder* never break up with him.
(Preferably fantasy setting, with tribes and pagan lifestyles, like in the og game. But I wouldn't mind a different setting, like modern or medieval or even post-apocalyptic)
There was a prophecy that a member of the Drake clan will release "The One Who Waits" and bring an end to the Old Faith. To prevent this, the Bishops of the Old Faith hunted down the Drake clan till the very last one.
Tim is that last Drake. And he was executed.
But this was exactly what "The One Who Waits" was expecting. When it seemed like Tim died, he was brought to stand before "The One Who Waits", also known as "Phantom". Phantom explained to Tim, that he will bring him back to life and share his power with him so that he could avenge his clan. But in exchange, Tim must work tirelessly to set him free from his prison. To do so, Tim must start a cult in Phantom's name, gain followers and influence over the land of the Old Faith, and slay the Bishops that imprisoned him.
With not much of a choice in the matter, Tim accepts the terms of his new divine benefactor, and sets out on a quest to become a cult-leader.
Along the way he learns why Phantom was imprisoned, who imprisoned him... as well as about who Phantom was before he became "The One Who Waits".
And he may or may not have developed some feelings for the mysterious deity he's worshiping.
AU/Prompt where Tim had a new case to look into that revolved around heirlooms, museum pieces, or collector items have been going missing in Gotham. Tim knew it wasn’t Selina as she was out of town with Harley and Ivy for their yearly 'Siren's Retreat'. It could be Magpie but some of the stuff wasn't shiny enough, was dusty old books, or not bird themed nor would the thief be working with a sketchy shipping company to deliver the things to her. It was possible it could be Penguin but the sketchy shipping company didn't seem to have any leads to the man but the possibility wasn't dismissed because of that. The last person Tim could think of behind it was Riddler and it seemed it might just be seeing as the shipment he stopped and confiscated were all items that had a story behind them and Edward loved a good story to work his riddles around, but Nygma always dod things with a certain....dramatic flair. Even the behind the scenes stuff and this just didn't scream him either.
So Tim had two known possibles: Penguin and Riddler, or this was a new player. Either way it wasn't good. But at the same time, Tim didn't understand why these items were taken other than the stories linked to them. They were said to be magical in nature or supernatural. Unfortunately no magic user was free enough to come check out some items that may or may not be in their jurisdiction no matter what Tim or Bruce said. So Tim did what he did best and that was obsess over the problem. The items had been locked away until they could be properly examined but Bruce knew Tim had the habit of taking them out and trying to trace their origins ever since they confiscated them. The workers at the company claimed they didn't know about the items they were shipping but it was quickly determined they were all hired thieves who genuinely had no idea who they were working for only the fact they were getting paid to steal these items and ship them to different addresses around the states.
So here Tim was, studying the items once more when his brain wouldn't shut up and let him sleep. He had tried to! Really! But insomnia was a bitch but Tim wasn't so he decided to be productive. Perhaps it was karma for not sleeping more than like 5 hours that week but Tim had forgot to put on the protective gloves he had taken to wearing while looking over the items, to be fair though he hadn't even planned on touching any of them. It had been an odd accident in where he should have suspected the tea Dick brought him was drugged and when he felt the affects kicking in he had begrudgingly got up away from the Batcomputer to stomp the familiar route to one of the napping couches in the cave when he had tripped over Alfred the cat who seemed to have followed him down to the cave. This caused Tim to throw his hands out to catch himself on something. Anything. And that something/anything ended up being the table chock full of items. Thankfully nothing fell and he didn't actually fall into the organized piles of things either, but he had ended up brushing one of the odd incense lamps in the collection.
Nothing seemed to happen so Tim made his way to his couch and flopped down on it before blindly grabbing a blanket and throwing it over himself. Before sleep dragged him under though he could have sworn he heard someone ask what his deepest desire/wish was. It was weird and repeated itself in this gentle, alluring voice and something in Tim desperately wanted to answer although a bigger part of him was screaming not too. But Tim was merely a man, a sleep-deprived, most likely sedated man. So he mumbled back, "I wish I had someone who wouldn't leave me...I wish I didn't feel so lonely all the time...."
He had succumb to sleep soon after and missed the answer to his wish, "So it is desired. So you have wished it. So shall it be~"
When he woke up though, he absolutely did not miss the fact that there was a person sleeping on top of him.
______________
Desiree decided to try her luck outside of Amity by letting her lamp get lost. It had taken longer than she wanted for someone to rub her lamp and make a wish but once they did, she knew it she could take advantage of it. This poor boy's soul ached with loneliness and she knew of another who was lonely and just wanted someone to understand him. It was perfect! Thus she tied this boy's soul to Phantom. Which meant Amity Park would be hers for the taking! All she needed to do now was grant a couple more wishes here in Gotham then make her way to Amity! It was perfect!

Danny woke to raised voices and two strong arms that tugged him into a sitting position but still kept him close to that wonderful warmth he had seemed to be floating it. It took him longer than he would like to admit to realize that was not normal. The raised voices yeah but the arms???? The warmth???? Yeah no. Even opening his eyes didn't help much as his face was squished into a very nice chest. So he turned his head to see a whole gaggle of people staring at him and whoever was holding him.
For a split second, Danny's heart stopped at the sight of the white cot and blankets and walls and medical equipment, until he realized the walls weren't walls at all and were in fact curtains. They didn't surround him like he originally thought so he got a glimpse of - holy sh- this was a cave. A cave with very iconic vehicles in view.
.....Shhhhhh-Shade's Children (by Garth Nix)
He was in the Batcave.
Aaaaaand he was being held in someone's lap in front of Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood (ask for autograph later), Batgirl (Black and gold), Batgirl (purple), and a masked older man in a very snazzy suit.
"Um.....hi?" He squeaked out.
Thus the interrogation began.
Fun.

Basically Tim makes an unknowing wish that ties him and Danny together. At first they are able to be relatively separated like they can both be on different floors in different directions of Wayne Manor, but the longer time passes the closer they have to be to each other of they don't want to experience any pain. And the longer time passes the more unstable Tim's emotions become. He starts to become overly protective of Danny and obsessive (yes this will be a bit dead dove-y but not overly so and will have a happy ending) while the Batfam and Phan-Team/Phan-Fraid try to track down Desiree before the wish becomes permanent.
AU/Prompt Includes:
Side quests include Danny seeing all the items the Batfam confiscated and realizing they are all ghostly items.
Him learning about the case the Batfam were working on when this all went down and getting a bad feeling.
Thought to be main antagonist Desiree
Real antagonist Freakshow
Danny fixing Jason's Pit Madness
Good Parents Jack and Maddie who know Danny is Phantom
Siblings Dan and Ellie
Jazz who is going to school in Gotham and joins the Batfam in helping Danny and Tim there
Rogues making wishes.
Etc.
I might make a headcanon post for this later but we shall see!!!
