Evan "Loverboy" Buckley edit of Boytoy by Ricky Montgomery Bit of whump , May he have a stable relationship 2026!
Let's talk about Buck 1.0 and Buck, actually for a sec.
In this ep, Buck sleeps with Taylor Kelly a few times and she dismisses quite easily, not caring at all. And Chimney said that she's like Buck 1.0
But I feel the need to defend my boy 'cause naha, Buck 1.0 (of what we've seen and I'll agree we haven't seen much) wasn' t dismissive and uncaring. 1. On the Firehose hook-up he tries to asks the girl for her number but she's the one who's uninterested.
2. Boah girl, that got interrupted quickly so
3. 🤢 With his therapist, she's the one shutting him off because it was 'unprofessional' (it was taking advantage of someone actually, which is way worse than a simple lack of professionalism), but Buck was ready to see her again otherwise
We know Buck has always had trouble catching and keeping the attention of people and I think it's really sad that Buck, actually make it seem like he wasn't trying, and desperate for any kind of attention..
buck coming out and someone referring to him as “buck 4.0” and buck just takes a moment before he’s like “no, just buck” because he’s finally just himself, he’s not trying to fix anything he thinks is wrong with himself, he’s just buck
So Eddie and buck are gonna be together at the end, right? LET ME IN THE WRITERS ROOM PLEASE!!!
Okay, so buck and Eddie are with their new girlies, everything is cool and it’s getting kinda serious. but oh no. The girlies don’t like how close buck and Eddie are to each other. They talk, buck and Eddie agree to distance from each other for a bit. Span however long. Shows their struggle without each other, Chris missing buck, the team struggling bc of it, etc. boom, climax, they’re in the middle of working, it’s pouring rain, there’s a character dying who says shit like “blah blah love blah blah” and tension grows. Boom kiss. Oh no they freak out and don’t talk for an episode, they work it out and they decide to break up with their girlies and get together. Happily ever after.
Yeah? Okay.
Every time I see reference to "Buck and Eddie's Red Hot Infidelity Summer" I think, is it? Is it really? Infidelity suggests a pledge has been broken.
Many Tevan (Tommy/Buck) fans have insisted that slash writers/readers/fans need to listen to gay men. Yet I haven't seen many of them claiming that, statistically speaking, Buck and Tommy probably aren't exclusive. Consensual non-monogamy isn't exactly rare among gay men. And, in contrast to straight people, neither open relationships nor open marriage are verboten. Plus, given Buck's 1.0 history, one might think he'd want to have that talk. As would Tommy.
*After meeting Abby*
Eddie: I never forget a face, but in your case, I'll be glad to make an exception
How many times do we have to hear Buck call himself “Buck _.0” before we get to the openly bisexual installation
