Injury rehabilitation and recovery periods are very frustrating but have taught me lessons to maintain basic habits in my flexibility, range of motion, and stability training. Combining bodybuilding and powerlifting has been as much a culture shock as a HUGE blessing to increase my practice knowledge base, learn and adopt different exercise practices. It's been several months since I've purposefully engaged every muscle with complete annihilation in mind. Now CrossFit?! Huh?! Mixing it up cuz there's always more to learn. Going to the last night box after legs day may not have been the smartest idea, but I was hung by my tongue. I'm amazed and blessed by the passion that @coach_paul_nelson has for teaching and thankful for the encouragement from @DrPaulMolina and @searle_tyler last night meant so much while I was trying to breathe and not die during my first ever @NW_CrossFit experience: rower, hip and glute focused isolation work on floor and with band, 800-meter run, 75 wall balls, 50 burpees + pull-ups superset. Did not die! .
