honest what do you think they will end this season? with all of them just being friends?

Honestly, the stancy biased side of my brain is still hopeful until it's over that we'll at least get them in the epilogue. I'd prefer us seeing them back together before then but at this point that's wishful thinking, given all the other plot points and characters arcs that need to be wrapped up in 2 hours. However, I'm not sure what's going to happen. I'm under the impression at this point that we might be getting a single Nancy, but if she ends up with anyone, I have faith that it will be Steve. Given what the Duffers have been saying though, I'm not letting myself get too excited. I wish it wasn't like that but it is. They've been taking us on too much of a confusing journey with the interviews and the in universe relationship development between Steve and Nancy for me to take anything they're saying or anything that's happening in canon without a heaping serving of salt.
